NAZARETH - Live At The BBC 1972-1973 - FRA Verne Records Limited Press - LISTEN - VERY RARE

A limited, excellent album containing nearly 60 minutes of top live hard rock playing from the BBC radio archives - in perfect sound quality! This is early Nazareth - still hungry, still strongly bluesy, already heavy and not sparing themselves on stage. All the recordings were made before the release of the breakthrough LP of their career, "Razamanaz" - mainly in January 1973, and also in July 1972. The band played several covers, including a very heavy "Goin' Down", as well as excellent, greatly extended covers of Tim Rose's "Morning Dew" and a nearly 10-minute, strongly jamming and very intense "Black Hearted Woman" from The Allman Brothers Band's debut! Besides this the record contains two more compositions never released on records: "Ruby Baby" and "Paper Sun". A beautiful, laminated sleeve and great sound remastered from the original, ultra-rare, promotional BBC Transcription Service discs from over 50 years ago! A must! Condition: MINT, NEW, UNSEALED. (JL)
