DEEP PURPLE - DEEP PURPLE - Live At The L.A. Forum, October 1968 - EU Sweet Leaf Limited Edition - VERY RARE - LISTENprice: 55,00 PLN / 13,75 EUR
A tastefully packaged, limited CD containing a complete, 50-minute performance from October 1968 (on the tour promoting the album "The Book Of Taliesyn" Deep Purple appeared as support for Cream) - the only surviving recording of a concert by the first line-up with Rod Evans and Nick Simper! This very attractive, often thrilling material sounds great - here slightly better than on the very rare CD "Inglewood", released 20 years ago. A must! Condition: New, sealed. (JL) -

A sensational, double CD, containing an absolutely brilliant performance by the band recorded on 12 November 1970 in the Swedish capital. Remastered, perfect sound quality! Alongside Made In Japan this is probably the best recording of a live performance by the second line-up! Every true Deep Purple fan should have this tastefully released CD in their collection... As a bonus - 2 live recordings from Paris 1970, an interview with Jon Lord and a DVD - the archival television material "Doing Their Thing – Live at Granada TV 1970", recorded on 14 July 1970 in Manchester. This is about 23–25 minutes of a DEEP PURPLE performance in the classic line-up. A MUST! -

DEEP PURPLE - DEEP PURPLE - Slow Train - A Collection Of Album Outtakes, Studio Jams & Rare Singles Tracks (1969-1972) - FRA Verne Limited Press - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 110,00 PLN / 27,50 EUR
A very tastefully made vinyl compilation from Verne, limited to 500 copies, in a glossy, laminated sleeve, featuring mostly recordings not previously released on LP, recorded between 1969 and the end of 1972 by the so-called MK II, that is the line-up with Ian Gillan and Roger Glover. The album includes, among others, the little-known "Slow Train", "Jam Stew", "Cry Free" (slightly extended), "Painted Horse" (also slightly extended), "Freedom", the single "Hallelujah" (the first track with Gillan), as well as an early version of "Fools" (released only on a CD box set) and the 12-minute, instrumental, great "First Day Jam" - with Ritchie Blackmore playing bass! This should be a huge treat for fans of the band - also thanks to the very attractive sleeve! BLACK vinyl. A MUST! Condition: NEW/MINT, but unsealed. -

ANALOGUE SOUND! A super rare, first JAPANESE pressing by Warner Bros, from March 1973 (still with the olive-green label on the vinyl, already replaced in April 1973 by a new design with an avenue of trees) of the classic, underrated album (the last with the young Gillan and Glover) containing, among others, "Woman From Tokyo" and "Rat Bat Blue". Plus a purple lyric insert - filled with Japanese characters on the other side. Perfect condition! The rigid, gatefold sleeve is unbelievably beautiful: MINT- / Record probably played 3-4 times - with micro traces of use visible here and there under strong light: MINT- -

LP
DEEP PURPLE - DEEP PURPLE - Live In Aachen 1970 - FRA Verne Limited Press - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 110,00 PLN / 27,50 EUR
Limited to 500 copies, a fan-club, as much as 59-minute, but great-sounding black vinyl released in a beautiful, laminated sleeve with nice (though somewhat dark) photos of the band. Recorded in July 1970 (before the release of the LP 'In Rock') and coming from the mixing desk, the material originally appeared in 1970 as the LP 'H-Bomb'. Jon Lord once said in an interview that the material on this record contains his best Hammond organ parts of the time and... he is right! The only track from this concert missing on the record is the 11-minute 'Paint It Black' (known from the CD version), which is essentially a 9-minute drum solo. The sound quality is slightly better, more spacious than on the official CD and the pressing is loud and clean! A must! Condition: NEW, but not shrink-wrapped. -
CD
DEEP PURPLE - DEEP PURPLE - Live In Osaka 1973 - SPA Top Gear - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 60,00 PLN / 15,00 EUR
A limited, very rare, 80-minute CD with an excellent, complete show from Osaka on 29 June 1973. It was the HISTORIC FAREWELL CONCERT OF THE LINE-UP WITH IAN GILLAN AND ROGER GLOVER (please listen to Ian's goodbye to the fans on the final track) and also the last date of the second Japanese tour (a year after the recording of the LP "Made In Japan"). The setlist is identical to the classic MIJ, but the playing is a little different. I recommend the excellent, extended "Space Truckin'", altered because it is combined with "The Mule" - "Lazy", as well as a brilliant version of "Child In Time" - played at almost double speed, with an incredibly fast and completely changed guitar solo from Blackmore! The sound quality of this fairly professional audience recording is very good, though not flawless. It is a great pleasure to listen to from start to finish! A must! (JL) -
LP
DEEP PURPLE - DEEP PURPLE - Live In Osaka 29th June 1973 - EU Dead Man Limited Press - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 120,00 PLN / 30,00 EUR
Limited to 300 copies and released in a beautiful, gatefold, laminated sleeve, a 57-minute black vinyl containing a very good, though not ideal, sounding, excellent show from Osaka, from 29 June 1973. It was the historic, farewell concert of the line-up with Gillan and Glover, and at the same time the last show of the second Japanese tour promoting "Who Do We Think We Are". The setlist was practically identical to the LP "Made In Japan", recorded almost a year earlier, but the playing is nevertheless a little different. Compared with the CD version this vinyl sounds even slightly better, however, because of the time limits of this already very long record, the drum solo in "Lazy", the middle part of "Space Truckin" and the very long announcements are missing. It is a great pleasure to listen to from start to finish! Highly recommended! NOTE: This is the second (much better) concert in Osaka, from 29 June! The much worse (more poorly recorded and with Blackmore in much worse form) show of 27 June is also known as the LP "Storm On Osaka". Condition: NEW, not shrink-wrapped. (JL) -
