ADMIRAL SIR CLOUDESLEY SHOVELL - ADMIRAL SIR CLOUDESLEY SHOVELL - Don't Hear It... Fear It! - UK Rise Above Edition - LISTENprice: 100,00 PLN / 25,00 EUR
This British band plays, sounds and looks as if it had been plucked straight from 1970-73! The sensational debut album combines the best of heavy rock from 40 years ago: the heaviness of Black Sabbath, the raw sound of MC5 and Blue Cheer, the finesse of Cream and Led Zeppelin and the untamed energy of the Budgie debut... Yes indeed, this material, recorded as a trio, is probably most reminiscent of the first album by the Welshmen. The whole thing sounds as if the musicians had simply walked into the studio, grabbed their instruments and recorded everything in one go! A great record, though the rather raw vocal may not appeal to everyone... Definitely recommended. (K) -
ADOLPHUS, PAUL - PAUL ADOLPHUS - The Dawn Wind - EU Press - UNIKALNY CDprice: 100,00 PLN / 25,00 EUR
The album was recorded in Japan in 1973 with a local musician and for years was practically unknown – it was rediscovered only with collector reissues. It is calm, acoustic playing at the meeting point of folk and meditative music, with a distinct influence of Japanese tradition (koto, shakuhachi) and very sparing arrangements. A 2007 reissue. ONLY ONE COPY! New, sealed. -
AEROBLUS - AEROBLUS - Aeroblus - HRC Records - UNIKALNY CDprice: 120,00 PLN / 30,00 EUR
Aeroblus is one of the most "Western-sounding" South American bands of that period — they were closer to Led Zeppelin or Cream than to most of the Latin scene. This is raw, energetic hard rock from 1977, with strong blues influences, based on heavy guitar riffs and an expressive vocal. A cult band, valued and sought after by fans of heavier, bluesy rock. A 2007 reissue. Only one copy! New, sealed. -

AFTER ALL - AFTER ALL - After All - SPA Out-Sider Remastered Press - LISTENprice: 140,00 PLN / 35,00 EUR
A very nice, breathy record based on the sound of organ, harking back to the work of Procol Harum and the Doors, with a pinch of The Band. Delicate, slightly psychedelic, and at moments even a bit jazzy moods. For Americans it was rather unusual material. A remastered reissue from the Spanish label Out-Sider, from 2021. Highly recommended! -

AFTER THE FIRE - AFTER THE FIRE - Signs Of Change +4 - UK Angel Air Expanded - LISTENprice: 65,00 PLN / 16,25 EUR
Debut and surprisingly successful album, released privately in 1978, by a British progressive formation playing a classic variety of symphonic rock (Hammond organ, moog) in the vein of ELP, Yes, Genesis, Flash and Druid. The band was formed in 1971, hence all six compositions have a fairly original form. After a change of line-up, the next records sounded decidedly new wave and are better avoided. The great debut, however - by all means! -
AGE OF TAURUS - AGE OF TAURUS - Desperate Souls Of Tortured Times - UK Rise Above Edition - LISTENprice: 85,00 PLN / 21,25 EUR
Age Of Taurus is yet another young doom metal (or, if you prefer, stoner rock) British formation playing heavy rock inspired above all by the work of old Black Sabbath, though the music on this CD could also be compared with the work of Hammers Of Misfortune (especially from the period of the second album). It must be admitted that this kind of playing (though not very original) definitely holds its own, especially as both the band's playing and the compositions themselves are at a really good level. If someone likes old, heavy "Sabbath-style" playing, there is simply no way that the music on this album would not appeal to them... Recommended (K). -
AGITATION FREE - AGITATION FREE - Malesch (معليش) +1 - GER MIG Digipack Edition - LISTENprice: 90,00 PLN / 22,50 EUR
Released by the German branch of Vertigo in 1972, Agitation Free's debut is without doubt one of the most interesting records of the krautrock scene, inspired by the band's journey to the Middle East. The oriental influences are not just an addition but one of the key elements of the sound, although it is not a literal imitation of the music of the East, rather an interpretation of it within krautrock. Guitars, electronics and subtle sound effects play a large role here. There are no distinct choruses or traditional structure – the music rather flows, changing mood and tempo. At times it is more rhythmic, at others strongly subdued. 2019 German edition, in a digipak, with an additional track from a concert. A MUST! -
AGITATION FREE - AGITATION FREE - 2nd +1 - GER MIG Remastered Edition - LISTENprice: 90,00 PLN / 22,50 EUR
One of the most important and best bands from the circle of German rock, enchanted by the culture of the East. In simplified terms, a combination of the style of early Pink Floyd with a pinch of East Of Eden and Amon Duul II. Instrumental, extended compositions kept in a narcotic atmosphere. A German edition in a classic CD jewel case, with an additional track from a concert. A MUST! -
