ACID - ACID - Maniac +3 - UK Hear No Evil Remastered Expanded Edition - LISTENprice: 70,00 PLN / 17,50 EUR
Released in 1983, "Maniac" is superb, classic speed-power metal from Belgium, with female vocals - a smoother Motorhead and sped-up AC/DC, with a pinch of Metallica from the period of "Kill 'Em All". Nice, simple playing with nice guitar solos and very good drumming. Some of the tracks are so good and so easily 'catchy' that it is hard to believe. This is one of my favourite metal albums! Additionally three bonuses from the maxi-single "Black Car" (1984). Highly recommended! (JL) -

ANVIL - ANVIL - Forged In Fire - CAN Press - LISTENprice: 190,00 PLN / 47,50 EUR
In 1982-83 (that is, just before the thrash era) Anvil played the sharpest, most dynamic and crushing speed metal (with two guitars) in the world! At the same time the band could compose catchy melodies that easily stick in the ear, which, combined with excellent, clear production, produced a stunning effect at the time. And finally, the band had probably the best metal drummer (Rob Reiner), next to whom Lars Ulrich sounded like some schoolboy. This is the absolute canon of metal playing! 2019 Canadian edition. -

For the first time on CD! Released in 1983 at the band's own expense (and reissued in 1985 by the Belgian Mausoleum), the sole album by an excellent, heavy-progressive British NWOBHM band, referring to the work of Black Sabbath with Dio and early Rush. In addition four recordings for the BBC, from 1982. Very good production! Highly recommended! (JL) -
COREA, CHICK / BURTON, GARY (see also: Return to Forever / Miles Davies) - Chick Corea / Gary Burton - Lyric Suite for Sextet - GER ECM Edition - UNIKALNY CDprice: 80,00 PLN / 20,00 EUR
"Lyric Suite for Sextet" (1983) is an intimate, precisely composed album in which Chick Corea combines the language of jazz with the classical suite form. The dialogue of piano and Gary Burton's vibraphone creates a subtle, almost impressionistic sonic space, and the presence of a string quartet gives the music elegance and underlines its compositional character, distinguishing it from typical jazz recordings.ONLY ONE COPY! New, sealed. -

EUROPE - EUROPE - Europe - EU Music On CD Edition - LISTENprice: 70,00 PLN / 17,50 EUR
The debut and genuinely great album by the Swedes known to almost everyone for the pompous and at the same time hit-filled "The Final Countdown". Three years earlier the band was at the forefront of European traditional metal - combining elements of Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Rainbow and the little-known (also from Sweden) Silver Mountain. Juicy riff-driven playing with plenty of classicising guitar parts! Once again I repeat - forget "The Final Countdown" - here the band played quite differently! -
EXCITER - EXCITER - Heavy Metal Maniac +2 - US Megaforce Expanded Edition - LISTENprice: 60,00 PLN / 15,00 EUR
For me the name Exciter (today completely forgotten) will always mean a lot! Once, this debut album by the Canadians sounded as if from another world. A slab of stunning, dynamic, heavy metal, often at a fast tempo. American Megaforce edition with two bonuses - including the great "World War III" from the cult compilation "US Metal II". (JL) -
EXCITER - EXCITER - Heavy Metal Maniac - US Megaforce Press - LISTENprice: 150,00 PLN / 37,50 EUR
