Released in 1983, "Maniac" is superb, classic speed-power metal from Belgium, with female vocals - a smoother Motorhead and sped-up AC/DC, with a pinch of Metallica of the "Kill 'Em All" period. Nice, simple playing with nice guitar solos and very good drumming. Some tracks are so good and so easily 'catchy' that it is hard to believe. It is one of my favourite metal albums! A 2023 reissue, on red-and-black vinyl, with an insert and an additional single.
