OMEGA – Omega (1st German Album) (LP) - GER MIG Press - LISTEN

The English-language debut released by German Bellaphon in 1973 (reissued in 2022 by the German MIG: Made In Germany) and made up of compositions earlier released on 'Elo Omega' and '5', including the brilliant 'After A Hard Year' and 'White Magic Stone'. The record opened the way to the West European market for the band. The musicians successfully combined the melodiousness and hard rock dynamics characteristic of earlier records with a more mature, more progressive sound, enriched with Hammond organ, mellotron and Moog synthesisers. A German, limited reissue on 180 g vinyl. A must! (JL)
