The debut album by the German band, containing dynamic music in the vein of Pink Floyd, Gila and... a little Deep Purple! The third LP was already more "cosmic" - in the style of Ash Ra Tempel and early Klaus Schulze. A 2022 reissue. Highly recommended! -

WARPIG - WARPIG - Warpig - EU Edition - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 60,00 PLN / 15,00 EUR

WE ALL TOGETHER (see also: Laghonia) - WE ALL TOGETHER - We All Together - ITA Get Back / Munster Card Sleeve Edition - LISTEN - OSTATNIE SZTUKIprice: 80,00 PLN / 20,00 EUR
If you adore The Beatles, solo Paul McCartney and Badfinger - you cannot pass up this CD! Released in 1972, the debut album by a Peruvian band (descended from the psychedelic legend Laghonia) was almost a copy of the sound of the aforementioned artists, though at times psychedelic influences could be heard (including the wonderfully overdriven bass in the track "It's A Sin To Go Away", known from "Nuggets II"). Catchy compositions, flawless, rich vocal harmonies and professional production. An Italian edition in a gatefold card sleeve, from 2007, no longer in production. Highly recommended! (JL) -

WEST COAST CONSORTIUM (see also: Airbus) - WEST COAST CONSORTIUM - All The Love In The World - Complete Recordings 1964-1972 (3CD) - UK Grapefruit Digipack Editionprice: 135,00 PLN / 33,75 EUR
A three-disc anthology of a British band performing a kind of pop-psychedelia in the style of The Beatles and The Hollies, with Mellotron, sometimes overdriven guitar and rich vocal harmonies. The compilation contains all the Pye Records releases, as well as recordings for the short-lived Trend label and as many as four albums from 1967-1969, recorded exclusively in the band's home studio. The latter reveal that at heart West Coast Consortium were a garage, psychedelic band. Twenty recordings appear for the first time, which makes "All The Love In The World" the band's first complete anthology! The whole thing in a four-panel digipak, with a 28-page booklet inside. Highly recommended! (MU) -
WICKED LADY (see also: Dark) - WICKED LADY - Psychotic Overkill - SPA Guerssen Edition - LISTENprice: 80,00 PLN / 20,00 EUR
Wicked Lady is a great British heavy rock trio which unfortunately received no official recordings in its day. The band's leader was Martin Weaver, guitarist and vocalist, known from Dark's only album! This superbly presented Spanish CD contains recordings made in 1972 and is the second part of all the band's recordings from 1969-1972 (the first came out under the title "Axeman Cometh"). The sound quality is very good although slightly muffled (something like the second T2 album). Highly recommended! (K) 2022 reissue, in a traditional plastic jewel case. -

WILD TURKEY (see also: Jethro Tull/Man/Eyes Of Blue) - WILD TURKEY - Battle Hymn +2 - GER Expanded Edition - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 60,00 PLN / 15,00 EUR
One of the best and most underrated bands of the early 70s!!! Founded by Glenn Cornick (ex-Jethro Tull), the band deserved much more than it achieved. An almost perfect combination of hard-rock energy with a slightly folky sound; and above all very tasty guitar parts - close to the style of Wishbone Ash from the period of the LP "Argus". Additionally two live recordings - running to 30 minutes together. A must! -
WILD TURKEY (see also: Jethro Tull/Man/Eyes Of Blue) - WILD TURKEY - Battle Hymn - UK Esoteric Remastered - LISTENprice: 70,00 PLN / 17,50 EUR
This is one of my most adored records from the so-called British second division. New, remastered, British edition of one of the best and most underrated formations of the early 70s!!! Founded by Glenn Cornick (ex-Jethro Tull), the band deserved much more than it achieved. On the debut, made at the beginning of 1972, the band presented an almost ideal combination of hard rock energy with a slightly folky sound and, above all, very tasty guitar parts, close to the style of Wishbone Ash of the LP Argus period. Attractive booklet. Recommended. -

A must! -

WISHBONE ASH - WISHBONE ASH - Live At The BBC 1971-1972 (2LP) - FRA Verne Press - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 170,00 PLN / 42,50 EUR
A fantastic, double, limited album of nearly 2 hours, released in an attractive, varnished sleeve with nice photos, containing, among other things, a complete, 70-minute concert from London from 1972. It is worth knowing that on the CD version ("Argus" deluxe 2CD) a cut-down version circulates, without the tracks "Jailbait" and "The Pilgrim"! In addition, 45 minutes of studio sessions from the period of the first 3 albums - including another 2 recordings from the period of the LP "Argus" that never made it onto an official CD! Moreover, a version of "The Pilgrim" never published on CD! The whole thing sounds perfect and is superbly pressed! It is hard to find a better title in the history of this wonderful band! A MUST! Condition: NEW, but not shrink-wrapped. -
WITTHUSER & WESTRUPP - WITTHUSER & WESTRUPP - Bauer Plath - GER Ohr Edition - LISTENprice: 80,00 PLN / 20,00 EUR
