Remastered edition of the excellent fourth album. This is an excellent record, who knows whether it is not the best of Gabriel's solo career! GALLIARD - GALLIARD - Strange Pleasure / New Dawn - US Edition - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 60,00 PLN / 15,00 EUR
Two albums from 1970. Galliard is British, jazzy, dynamic prog-rock with elements of folk and even psychedelia. Something like If, Walrus, Hannibal and Heaven. Both albums, once released by Decca, are truly charming, and the 9-minute, psychedelic (sitar!), trance-like "Ask For Nothing" from the 'second' is simply stunning! Highly recommended! -

LP
GARRIE, NICK - NICK GARRIE - Nightmare Of J.B. Stanislas +2 - ITA Get Back Expanded Press - LISTENprice: 200,00 PLN / 50,00 EUR
Italian 2008 reissue of the charming, very collectable (originally released only in France) album by a Briton, combining the style of ambitious ballad-driven pop-psych-rock (early Bee Gees, Donovan, Nick Drake, Al Stewart, Paul McCartney, Kaleidoscope) with plush, slightly baroque orchestrations. And although some of the tracks are very similar to one another, the record is genuinely charming. Plus two tracks from a nice single! Album new, sealed. -
CD

A British band playing progressive, jazzy rock (with elements of blues and soul) - very reminiscent of the recordings of Ginger Baker's Airforce, Pete Brown & Piblokto and Demon Fuzz. Peter Green played on the record as a guest. Recommended! -

GENESIS - GENESIS - Live In Chicago 1978 +3 (2CD) - EU Sweet Leaf Expanded Limited Edition - VERY RARE - LISTENprice: 80,00 PLN / 20,00 EUR
Released in an attractive sleeve, a two-disc CD lasting 158 minutes containing above all a fantastic-sounding and superbly played 138-minute, legendary concert professionally recorded in Chicago on 13 October 1978 during the tour promoting the LP "And Then There Were Three" and broadcast by American radio. It was the first tour without Steve Hackett, but with the esteemed guitarist from the jazz fusion circle, Darryl Stuermer. On the second drum kit played the former drummer of Zappa and Weather Report - Chester Thompson. This was probably the best-sounding concert of the whole 1978 tour and at the same time it must be added that the band played fantastically! This is still stunning, progressive, of course lightly smoothed-out (like all the popular bands of the day) Genesis of the late 70s but with a dream set of tracks! It was certainly no worse playing than the last tour from 1977 with Hackett! Additionally 3 rare recordings played at other performances, lasting 20 minutes in all, are included: 'Down And Out', 'The Ballad Of Big' and 'The Fountain Of Salmacis'. The last of these appeared officially on 'Three Sides Live'. An absolute must for progressive rock fans! Condition: New, sealed. (JL) -
CD
GENESIS - GENESIS - Live In Pittsburgh 1976 (2CD) - EU Sweet Leaf Limited Edition - VERY RARE - LISTENprice: 80,00 PLN / 20,00 EUR
Released in an attractive sleeve, a two-disc CD containing a fantastic-sounding 115-minute concert from April 1976 - professionally recorded for a radio programme, shortly after the start of the American tour promoting the just-released LP "A Trick Of The Tail". It was the first tour with Phil Collins as vocalist, and also the only one with guest drummer Bill Bruford (ex-Yes, King Crimson)! Of course still with Steve Hackett on guitar! Besides, only then did the band perform "White Mountain", known from the LP "Trespass"! Together with the performance from London's Hammersmith, this is the best-sounding concert from the whole 1976 tour! All the musicians are perfectly audible! An absolute must for progressive rock fans! Condition: New, sealed. (JL) -

GENESIS - GENESIS - Studio Rarities 1968-1978 - Rare Singles, Outtakes & Demo Tracks - FRA Verne Limited Press - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 110,00 PLN / 27,50 EUR
A collectors' and beautifully made LP limited to 500 copies, featuring 52 minutes of excellent music by Genesis in various line-ups and A PERFECT COMPLEMENT to the albums of the 70s! The album includes, among others, "Build Me A Mountain", an outtake from the debut, where it would have been the best track! Besides that, two demo versions from August 1969 (the unofficially recorded "Going Out To Get You" and "Dusk", later known from the LP "Trespass" - 6 minutes long here) and single recordings from 1972-1978 - all in attractive remixes from 2007-2008, which have never appeared on vinyl, only on CD box sets! The sound quality is perfect. The very attractive, almost fairy-tale, FULLY LAMINATED sleeve features, among others, several rare photos, including one (from 1973) with the Italian progressive band LE ORME! Condition: NEW, but unsealed. AN ABSOLUTE MUST! -
CD
GENESIS - GENESIS - Studio Rarities 1967-1973 - Rare Singles, Outtakes & Demo Tracks - EU Sweet Leaf Limited Edition - VERY RARE- LISTENprice: 55,00 PLN / 13,75 EUR
An attractively packaged, limited compilation of rare recordings from early singles and demo tapes, recorded in 1967-1973. This nearly 80-minute CD contains all the known/available recordings made by the earliest Genesis (Gabriel/Banks/Rutherford/Phillips/Silver) up to the debut LP "From Genesis To Revelation", including the excellent, unreleased "Build Me A Mountain", which would probably have been the best track on the debut! In addition, the original single vinyl mixes of recordings such as "Twilight Alehouse", "Happy The Man" and a shortened version (with an alternative ending) of "Watcher Of The Skies" are included. There is also room for two demo versions with drummer John Mayhew, from August 1969: "Going Out To Get You" and "Dusk". All the recordings were professionally recorded and sound simply excellent! Please also note the very attractive, fantastical cover by Paul Whitehead (creator of the covers for "Trespass", "Nursery Cryme" and "Foxtrot") + several rare photos, including one showing Genesis in the company of the Italian trio Le Orme (in 1972)!!! An absolute must for prog rock fans! (JL) -
LP
GENESIS - GENESIS - Live At The Shrine Auditorium 1975 (2LP) - EU Open Mind Limited Press - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 200,00 PLN / 50,00 EUR
Released in a beautiful, gatefold, laminated sleeve (inside with a beautiful, large concert photo), a double, European vinyl, LIMITED TO 500 COPIES, containing a fantastic-sounding, 110-minute concert (recorded by the band's crew) from 24 January 1975 - shortly after the start of the American tour promoting the LP "The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway". In 1975 the track "The Waiting Room" was officially released on the B-side of a single. The whole concert was officially released on CD in 1997, as part of the 4CD box set "Genesis Archive 1967-1975". Unfortunately the band came up with the tragic idea of improving the whole thing and 3/4 of the vocals were re-sung by Gabriel (in a changed, lower voice), and besides that Hackett added plenty of new guitar parts. Note! This is the original, perfect-sounding (better than ever) version with the original vocals and untouched guitar. Shrine Auditorium (along with West Palm Beach from 10 January 1975) is the best-sounding concert of the whole tour! All the musicians are perfectly audible! An absolute must for progressive rock fans! Both 180-gram black vinyl records are perfectly pressed! A must! NEW, not shrink-wrapped. -
LP
GENESIS - GENESIS - BBC Sessions 1971-1972 (2LP) - FRA Verne Limited Press - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 170,00 PLN / 42,50 EUR
A remastered, limited to 500 copies, double vinyl edition from the Verne label, adorned with an attractive sleeve, containing perfect-sounding three studio radio sessions (lasting 70 minutes altogether) and a 30-minute performance, all recorded for BBC radio, in the classic line-up with Peter Gabriel and Steve Hackett, between May 1971 and September 1972 (between "Trespass" and "Foxtrot"). This 100-minute album contains, among other things, a very early, 12-minute "The Musical Box" with an instrumental transition in the middle that was added and not used on the studio record, as well as the 8-minute "Twilight Alehouse", released only on the B-side of a single - in my opinion one of the band's best tracks. Most of the performances contained here sound more dynamic than on the classic records! Additionally, at the end of the record the only known live version of the track "Harlequin" - from March 1972 - has been included. A definitive edition! It is a priceless addition to the catalogue albums. A MUST! Condition: NEW, unsealed. -

On the first side the album contains a 29-minute recording of a live show (without an audience) from Belgian TV, from March 1972. On the second side is the 26-minute suite "Supper's Ready" (in perfect quality), recorded in February 1973, which at the last moment did not fit on the LP "Genesis Live"! An absolute must! Condition: NEW, not shrink-wrapped. -
LP
GENESIS - GENESIS - BBC Sessions 1970 ('Night Ride' Session + 'Genesis Plays Jackson' Tape) - FRA Verne Limited Press - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 110,00 PLN / 27,50 EUR
A revelation! This is a new and improved version of the LP "Going Out To Get You", released 10 years ago (the first album produced by the Verne label) and at the same time the missing link between the debut LP "From Genesis To Revelation" and the brilliant "Trespass"! A fan club, collectors' and attractively released LP limited to 500 copies, containing 52 minutes of superb music by Genesis in the line-up with the guitarist Anthony Phillips and the drummer John Mayhew (that is, still before the era of Hackett and Collins), recorded in January and February 1970. It was a very creative period in the band's career, since the shy pop-psychedelic band suddenly transformed into a thoroughbred, progressive band with a unique, slightly folky sound. This wonderful LP contains two sessions for the BBC: from January 1970 (four tracks found after 35 years from a tape labelled "Genesis Plays Jackson" - originally recorded with a documentary film about a British painter in mind and included only on the expensive, 13-disc CD/SACD box set "1970-1975") and from February 1970 (five recordings, including early versions of "Stagnation" and "Looking For Someone" and three unique titles not released on the band's classic albums!). As a bonus a very rare demo track (by Phillips and Rutherford) from the autumn of 1969 has been added - previously unreleased on vinyl! The sound quality is ideal - even better than on the older, quiet version, and the pressing much better than the somewhat hissy old version ('Going Out To Get You') which came from a very mediocre pressing plant. The almost fairy-tale, fully laminated cover contains several rare photographs and reproductions of unique memorabilia. A MUST! Condition: MINT (NEW, but unsealed). -

Released in a beautiful, laminated sleeve, a two-disc vinyl LIMITED TO 500 COPIES, containing a fantastic-sounding, over 100-minute concert from April 1976 - professionally recorded for a radio programme, shortly after the start of the American tour promoting the just-released LP "A Trick Of The Tail". It was the first tour with Phil Collins as vocalist, and also the only one with Bill Bruford (ex-Yes, King Crimson) as a guest drummer! And of course, still with Steve Hackett on guitar! Moreover, it was only then that the band performed "White Mountain", known from the LP "Trespass"! LP
GENESIS - GENESIS - Live In Rome (April 1972) - EU Open Mind Limited Press - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 120,00 PLN / 30,00 EUR
Released in a beautiful, gatefold, laminated sleeve (inside with a very nice, large photo from the concert), a single European vinyl, LIMITED TO 500 COPIES, containing a very good-sounding, thrilling, hour-long concert recorded by a fan on a decent reel-to-reel recorder at Rome's Piper Club in April 1972, during the tour promoting the LP "Nursery Cryme". For many years this classic material circulated in a much worse-sounding version (still considered good) - transferred too fast, what is more. This material comes from a new, much better source and, of course, at the right speed. The 180-gram black vinyl is perfectly pressed! A must! NEW, not shrink-wrapped.
