WHITE NOISE - WHITE NOISE - An Electric Storm - UK Remastered Edition - LISTENprice: 60,00 PLN / 15,00 EUR
The British counterpart of the group The United States Of America - only less rock and somewhat more experimental. The album is characterised by a very gloomy mood and numerous experiments with sound. A fascinating, though rather difficult title. Remastered British edition. -
WHITE SPIRIT (see also: Iron Maiden / Gillan / Tank) - WHITE SPIRIT - White Spirit +3 - JAP Expanded Limited Edition - LISTENprice: 100,00 PLN / 25,00 EUR
The debut album (the next one was released only after the reunion in 2022) by a British heavy-metal band. Janick Gers played guitar - later in Gillan, and then in Iron Maiden. It is worth adding that the band was seriously inspired by the work of Deep Purple. A limited edition from Japanese Geffen, with three additional tracks. -

WHO, THE - WHO - Live At Hull 1970 (2LP) - EU Verne Limited Press - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 170,00 PLN / 42,50 EUR
A rare double European vinyl limited to 500 copies, released in a superb sleeve and containing truly sensational, 112-minute live material recorded on 15 February 1970 - exactly one day after the legendary Leeds performance, released on the official album! Here the band sounds like a souped-up Led Zeppelin and at that time had no equal on stage! The Hull performance has never before appeared on vinyl (only on a double CD), and in my opinion it sounds minimally better still than the brilliant Leeds! An absolute must! Condition: NEW, but unsealed. -

WHO, THE - WHO - Live At The Fillmore East 1968 - SPA Top Gear Expanded Edition - VERY RAREprice: 60,00 PLN / 15,00 EUR
Limited, very tastefully presented, fan-club CD containing the legendary performance by the band at New York's Fillmore East, from April 1968. With the previously released LP "The Who Sell Out" to their name, the band, having transformed from a recent mod-garage formation into a thoroughbred quartet playing heavy, improvised, but melodic rock, planned to record and release an official concert. Hence the perfect quality of this hour of material! Of course it is one of the most frequently copied performances in The Who's long career, but this version beats the old editions with slightly better sound quality and corrected (sped up) speed. This CD contains the only known live versions of "Relax" (here in the form of a long, Cream-style improvisation), "Little Billy" - known from the studio only from the LP "Odds And Sodds" - and an unknown cover of Eddie Cochran's "My Way". In addition three tracks (recorded in March 1967 for German Beat-Club) from London's Marquee and little-known, but superb tracks from singles and a British compilation (1968-1969) - in original mixes! Plus several rare, great photos from the period! An absolute must! (JL) -

Sensational live material recorded in February 1970, the day after the legendary "Live At Leeds" and just as good as that classic album! Here the band sounds like a souped-up Led Zeppelin and on stage at that time had no equal! Double CD released in the form of an eye-catching digipak. A must for fans!!! -

WHO, THE - WHO - My Generation +16 (2CD) - EU STEREO Expanded Edition - LISTENprice: 80,00 PLN / 20,00 EUR
Released in December 1965, the debut by the legendary Brits and one of the most important titles of the 60s! Contrary to appearances (unlike the hit singles) the album itself sold very poorly at the time - much worse than records by, say, The Rolling Stones. Yet today every fan of classic rock should have this cult record in their collection! Double edition in a traditional jewel case, containing the stereo mix (in my opinion somewhat poorer, but more spacious than the mono...) and as many as sixteen great bonuses. A beautiful edition with a very sizeable, attractive booklet! A must! (JL) -
WHO, THE - WHO - My Generation - UK Remastered MONO Editionprice: 60,00 PLN / 15,00 EUR

WICKED LADY (see also: Dark) - WICKED LADY - Psychotic Overkill - SPA Guerssen Edition - LISTENprice: 80,00 PLN / 20,00 EUR
Wicked Lady is a great British heavy rock trio which unfortunately received no official recordings in its day. The band's leader was Martin Weaver, guitarist and vocalist, known from Dark's only album! This superbly presented Spanish CD contains recordings made in 1972 and is the second part of all the band's recordings from 1969-1972 (the first came out under the title "Axeman Cometh"). The sound quality is very good although slightly muffled (something like the second T2 album). Highly recommended! (K) 2022 reissue, in a traditional plastic jewel case. -
WICKED LADY (see also: Dark) - WICKED LADY - Axeman Cometh - UK Unreleased Heavy Rock (Vol. 1 - 1969-1972) - SPA Guerssen Remastered Edition - LISTENprice: 80,00 PLN / 20,00 EUR
Superb heavy rock material, unreleased in its day, by the cult British trio, whose leader was guitarist and vocalist Martin Weaver - co-responsible for the great LP "Round The Edges" (1972), released in 1972, by the group Dark. Incidentally, this talented musician was remarkably unlucky... Listening to the recordings of Wicked Lady (not to mention Dark) one has to admit that this was very intense, heavy rock blazing (with a slightly garage mood) on a par with the then output of the rock front rank! Who knows how this material would have sounded if some big record label had released it in its day! The CD has a fairly extensive booklet and very good sound quality. ATTENTION! A second Wicked Lady CD, containing only recordings from 1972, came out simultaneously in the same edition. Both records basically form a whole and although we sell them separately I cannot imagine that anyone would be satisfied with only one of them... Definitely recommended! (JL)
