GRIFFIN - GRIFFIN - Protectors Of The Lair +5 - EU Eclipse Remastered Expanded - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 60,00 PLN / 15,00 EUR
Released in early 1986 by the German Steamhammer, this is the second album by one of the best American groups of the American power-speed metal scene. Fans of the band are divided over which record is better - generally pointing to the pioneering debut! The 'second' is considerably faster and more thrash-oriented (the guitar work, and especially the solos, is incredible) and, as far as I'm concerned, slightly better than the already fantastic debut! And the whole thing begins with the words: "Here lies the body of the Polish king"... An absolute heavy metal masterpiece! Very good sound and a booklet that reproduces the vinyl original. Plus five tracks from an early demo tape from 1983. A must! -
GRIFFIN - GRIFFIN - Flight Of The Griffin +3 - EU Eclipse Remastered Expanded - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 60,00 PLN / 15,00 EUR
Sensational! Released at the end of 1984 by Shrapnel Records, the superb debut album by one of the best American bands of the power metal circle. A combination of the style of Judas Priest, Iron Maiden and the NWOBHM (two lead guitars) with very early speed metal. Excellent sound and a booklet reproducing the vinyl original. In addition three recordings from a demo tape from 1983. A must! (JL) -
GRIFFIN - GRIFFIN - Protectors Of The Lair (2LP) - GER Remastered Press - LISTENprice: 145,00 PLN / 36,25 EUR
Released at the beginning of 1986 by the German Steamhammer, the second album by one of the best bands from the American power-speed metal circle. The band's fans are divided on the question of which record is better - generally with a lean towards the pioneering debut! The 'second one' is much faster and more thrash (the guitar work, and especially the solos, is incredible) and for me - slightly better than the already sensational debut! And the whole thing begins with the words: 'Here lies the body of the Polish king'... An absolute heavy metal masterpiece! A two-disc 2021 edition. On the first LP a new mix from 2020, and on the second the original.
