BLOODROCK - BLOODROCK - Bloodrock - EU Eclipse Remastered Edition - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 60,00 PLN / 15,00 EUR
A remastered and improved edition of Bloodrock's excellent debut album, released in March 1970 (barely a month after Black Sabbath's debut), which belongs to the very canon of American heavy playing from the turn of the 60s and 70s! At times this album resembles a combination of Sir Lord Baltimore with Budgie, Black Sabbath and Deep Purple (because of the heavy, distinctive Hammond organ), though it also contained numerous and very atmospheric moments bordering on psychedelia and prog rock. ATTENTION! This is the first compact disc edition that sounds like the original vinyl, that is, minimally faster and cleaner than both earlier (wrongly slowed down) CD versions! The difference is small, but noticeable! An absolute must! (JL) -
BLOODROCK - BLOODROCK - Bloodrock U.S.A. +1 - US One Way Records Edition - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 60,00 PLN / 15,00 EUR
The American One Way Records edition of the great, fourth album from the end of 1971 (the last studio title in the classic line-up) in the vein of the third album! Additionally a rare track from a single's B-side. Highly recommended! -
BLOODROCK - BLOODROCK - Bloodrock 2 - GER Repertoire Edition - LISTENprice: 65,00 PLN / 16,25 EUR
Bloodrock is an excellent (especially up to 1971) American band playing heavy, at times truly progressive rock with Hammond organ, although not shying away from gentler moods. The second album contains, among others, the stunning, 8-minute D.O.A. - a dark piece that is a recording of the last moments of a plane crash victim... CD from Repertoire. A must! -
BLOODROCK - BLOODROCK - Bloodrock 3 - US One Way Records Edition - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 60,00 PLN / 15,00 EUR
Excellent third album containing the 9-minute "Breach Of Lease"! Many fans of heavy rock consider this very record the peak achievement of this superb band. Highly recommended! (JL) -
BLOODROCK - BLOODROCK - Bloodrock Live - US One Way Records Edition - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 60,00 PLN / 15,00 EUR
An excellent live album (originally released as a double vinyl) from 1972, containing recordings from the first three albums. Highly recommended! (JL) -
BLOODROCK - BLOODROCK - Passage / Whirlwind Tongues (1972-74) - GER Edition - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 60,00 PLN / 15,00 EUR
The last two catalogue records by a legend of American heavy playing! The LP "Passage", released in 1972, is a slab of almost progressive (Hammond, Moog, flute) and very competent playing - resembling a little the earliest, but somewhat heavier, work of Kansas. This CD is worth having for this album alone! The later "Whirlwind Tongues" contained simple, somewhat heavy rock - nothing worth attention. Even so I highly recommend it to all lovers of the earlier five Bloodrock albums!
