BLOODROCK - Bloodrock - EU Eclipse Remastered Edition - LISTEN - VERY RARE

A remastered and improved edition of Bloodrock's excellent debut album, released in March 1970 (barely a month after Black Sabbath's debut), which belongs to the very canon of American heavy playing from the turn of the 60s and 70s! At times this album resembles a combination of Sir Lord Baltimore with Budgie, Black Sabbath and Deep Purple (because of the heavy, distinctive Hammond organ), though it also contained numerous and very atmospheric moments bordering on psychedelia and prog rock. ATTENTION! This is the first compact disc edition that sounds like the original vinyl, that is, minimally faster and cleaner than both earlier (wrongly slowed down) CD versions! The difference is small, but noticeable! An absolute must! (JL)
