FIREBALLET - FIREBALLET - Night On Bald Mountain - US Passport 1975 1st Press - NEAR MINT VINTAGE VINYLprice: 350,00 PLN / 87,50 EUR
ANALOGUE SOUND! A very rare, the only American edition (from 1975, with a lyric inner sleeve) of the superb debut by an American progressive band. This is decidedly one of the best records of this type made outside Europe and probably the best progressive album made in the States! The record contains four tracks (including a 19-minute suite taking up the whole of side B of the original LP) in the vein of Genesis, Van der Graaf Generator, Yes, King Crimson, ELP, Egg or Refugee! Plenty of Hammonds, Mellotrons and nice analogue synthesiser sounds. This is the British sound of circa 1973-74! Top-shelf playing! The whole thing was produced by Ian McDonald of King Crimson. Excellent sound! Perfect condition! The sleeve is like new, but has a half-centimetre promotional cut: EXCELLENT+ / Record, played maybe twice: MINT- -

FIRST AID (see also: Igginbottom) - FIRST AID - Nostradamus - EU HIFLY Press - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 110,00 PLN / 27,50 EUR
Released at the height of the punk revolt and perfectly produced, the sole record by the Britons is very nice progressive rock (sometimes aided by a symphony orchestra) in the style of Camel, Yes, Genesis/Steve Hackett and ELP. Particularly deserving of distinction were the three longer pieces - two lasting 7 minutes each and one of 13 minutes. Alongside England's "Garden Shed", it is certainly one of the most successful forgotten titles of the second half of the 70s. The drummer had previously played in the jazz-rock band Igginbottom (Allan Holdsworth's). Highly recommended! -

FLOWER TRAVELLIN' BAND - FLOWER TRAVELLIN' BAND - Make Up (2LP) - SPA Press - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 160,00 PLN / 40,00 EUR
A Spanish reissue of the fourth and at the same time last album, from 1973, by the excellent, heavy-progressive Japanese band. "Make Up" contained premiere studio material, and also fragments of 'live' shows. -
LP
FLOWER TRAVELLIN' BAND - FLOWER TRAVELLIN' BAND - Made In Japan - FRA Absinthe Limited Press - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 110,00 PLN / 27,50 EUR
A very tastefully produced, European edition (in a gatefold sleeve) of the excellent third album by the classics of heavy progressive rock from Japan, known mainly for the fantastic, ultra-heavy and genuinely cult LP "Demon & Eleven Children" from 1971. "Made In Japan" (1972), released a year later, was more progressive in character than its predecessor, but was almost in no way inferior to it! The sound and pressing quality is excellent! New, sealed. A must! (JL) -

FLOWER TRAVELLIN' BAND - FLOWER TRAVELLIN' BAND - Anywhere - EU Press - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 110,00 PLN / 27,50 EUR
FTB's debut album has one of the most rock sleeves of all time! A fantastic rock monster from the Land of the Rising Sun containing only stunningly performed, very intense covers of the rockers of the day (including 'Black Sabbath', 'The House Of The Rising Sun' and '21st Century Schizoid Man'). You cannot love heavy, guitar-driven rock and not have this album! New, sealed. -
LP
FOCUS - FOCUS - Live In Rotterdam 1971 - EU Atos / Verne Press - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 110,00 PLN / 27,50 EUR
Limited to 500 copies, a perfect-sounding, superb vinyl containing live material by a band at the peak of its creative powers! Almost the entire LP is filled by a 47-minute, excellent version of the suite "Eruption" recorded in Rotterdam in autumn 1971 (in my opinion much better than the one known from the LP "Moving Waves"), containing plenty of music not used in the studio version. In addition, a 10-minute, concise version of "Anonymous II" recorded by the BBC in December 1972. A must! NEW, SEALED. -
LP
FOCUS - FOCUS - Focus In Concert 1973 (2LP) - EU Limited Press - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 170,00 PLN / 42,50 EUR
Limited to 500 copies, an unofficial double vinyl containing a recording of an hour-long concert from January 1973, which came out in a run of 100 copies on a BBC Transcription Service radio promotional vinyl. In addition, three tracks recorded at the BBC studios a month earlier. The whole sounds quite similar to the classic "Live At The Rainbow" (recorded half a year later), but the sound quality and production are even better - simply perfect. And that superb "Anonymous"... This is a real treat for prog rock fans! The heavy vinyl sounds perfect (slightly better and more dynamic than the already excellent CD) - without the slightest surface noise! A must! -

FOCUS - FOCUS - Focus Con Proby - NL EMI Bovema 1977 1st Press - NEAR MINT VINTAGE VINYLprice: 300,00 PLN / 75,00 EUR
ANALOGUE SOUND! A very rare, first Dutch pressing (from 1977, with a lyric insert) by EMI of the last album of the 70s by an excellent progressive band. Oddly enough, this partly vocal album (recorded with the accompaniment of the British vocalist P.J. Proby, popular in the 60s) is the hardest to find title in the career of Van Leer's band, as in the era of new wave it sold very poorly! Almost perfect condition. Sleeve: EXCELLENT+ (almost MINT-) / Record: MINT- -

FOCUS - FOCUS - In And Out Of Focus - NL Imperial 1971 1st Press - NEAR MINT VINTAGE VINYLprice: 300,00 PLN / 75,00 EUR
ANALOGUE SOUND! A very rare, first Dutch edition (from 1971) of the edition of the debut album expanded with the very popular single track "House Of The King", originally released in 1970 (in a different sleeve and without the aforementioned track) as "Focus Play Focus". Once again: This is the first edition of the LP "In And Out Of Focus", but practically the second, much altered edition of the band's debut. This is an absolute classic of early European progressive rock! Almost perfect condition! The sleeve would be MINT-, but it has a barely visible, just one-centimetre mark from a sticker (white on white), hence: EXCELLENT+ / Record like new: MINT(-) -
LP
FOCUS - FOCUS - Moving Waves - JAPAN Polydor 1973 1st Press - NEAR MINT VINTAGE VINYLprice: 300,00 PLN / 75,00 EUR
ANALOGUE SOUND! Very rare first Japanese release (from 1973) of the brilliant album recorded in Holland at the end of 1971 - combining the style of early Jethro Tull (flute, Hammond) with a touch of Santana on steroids (the frenzied rock guitar of Jan Akkerman) and superb, energetic drumming. Without a doubt it belongs in the top ten of European prog rock! The album includes, among others, "Hocus Pocus" and the 22-minute suite "Eruption". Plus an insert! The stiff sleeve and the vinyl are in perfect condition! MINT(-) / MINT(-) -

The only album by a great German band, based on a typically juicy blend of guitars, Hammonds and a solid rhythm section. FUSION ORCHESTRA - FUSION ORCHESTRA - Skeleton In Armour - EU Soundvision Press - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 100,00 PLN / 25,00 EUR
Yet another forgotten British band with a single album to its name. Great, progressive playing with juicy guitar and organ parts; occasional flute and veeery long, extended compositions - averaging around 10 minutes. A vocalist reminiscent a little of Jenny Kaagman of Earth And Fire. Gatefold sleeve. Highly recommended! -

GARYBALDI (see also: Gleemen) - GARYBALDI - Astrolabio - ITA Limited Press Blue vinyl - LISTENprice: 160,00 PLN / 40,00 EUR
An Italian reissue of the brilliant second album. "Astrolabio" is without doubt one of the 5 best spaghetti westerns made in that country, and contains only two 20-minute compositions - full of tasty, mainly guitar instrumental parts. A combination of the aesthetics of Pink Floyd from 1969 with a slightly dreamy Hendrix! Coloured vinyl. A must! -

GENESIS - GENESIS - Studio Rarities 1968-1978 - Rare Singles, Outtakes & Demo Tracks - FRA Verne Limited Press - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 110,00 PLN / 27,50 EUR
A collectors' and beautifully made LP limited to 500 copies, featuring 52 minutes of excellent music by Genesis in various line-ups and A PERFECT COMPLEMENT to the albums of the 70s! The album includes, among others, "Build Me A Mountain", an outtake from the debut, where it would have been the best track! Besides that, two demo versions from August 1969 (the unofficially recorded "Going Out To Get You" and "Dusk", later known from the LP "Trespass" - 6 minutes long here) and single recordings from 1972-1978 - all in attractive remixes from 2007-2008, which have never appeared on vinyl, only on CD box sets! The sound quality is perfect. The very attractive, almost fairy-tale, FULLY LAMINATED sleeve features, among others, several rare photos, including one (from 1973) with the Italian progressive band LE ORME! Condition: NEW, but unsealed. AN ABSOLUTE MUST! -
LP
GENESIS - GENESIS - Live At The Shrine Auditorium 1975 (2LP) - EU Open Mind Limited Press - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 200,00 PLN / 50,00 EUR
Released in a beautiful, gatefold, laminated sleeve (inside with a beautiful, large concert photo), a double, European vinyl, LIMITED TO 500 COPIES, containing a fantastic-sounding, 110-minute concert (recorded by the band's crew) from 24 January 1975 - shortly after the start of the American tour promoting the LP "The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway". In 1975 the track "The Waiting Room" was officially released on the B-side of a single. The whole concert was officially released on CD in 1997, as part of the 4CD box set "Genesis Archive 1967-1975". Unfortunately the band came up with the tragic idea of improving the whole thing and 3/4 of the vocals were re-sung by Gabriel (in a changed, lower voice), and besides that Hackett added plenty of new guitar parts. Note! This is the original, perfect-sounding (better than ever) version with the original vocals and untouched guitar. Shrine Auditorium (along with West Palm Beach from 10 January 1975) is the best-sounding concert of the whole tour! All the musicians are perfectly audible! An absolute must for progressive rock fans! Both 180-gram black vinyl records are perfectly pressed! A must! NEW, not shrink-wrapped. -
LP
GENESIS - GENESIS - BBC Sessions 1971-1972 (2LP) - FRA Verne Limited Press - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 170,00 PLN / 42,50 EUR
A remastered, limited to 500 copies, double vinyl edition from the Verne label, adorned with an attractive sleeve, containing perfect-sounding three studio radio sessions (lasting 70 minutes altogether) and a 30-minute performance, all recorded for BBC radio, in the classic line-up with Peter Gabriel and Steve Hackett, between May 1971 and September 1972 (between "Trespass" and "Foxtrot"). This 100-minute album contains, among other things, a very early, 12-minute "The Musical Box" with an instrumental transition in the middle that was added and not used on the studio record, as well as the 8-minute "Twilight Alehouse", released only on the B-side of a single - in my opinion one of the band's best tracks. Most of the performances contained here sound more dynamic than on the classic records! Additionally, at the end of the record the only known live version of the track "Harlequin" - from March 1972 - has been included. A definitive edition! It is a priceless addition to the catalogue albums. A MUST! Condition: NEW, unsealed.
