Limited to 500 copies, a beautifully produced (gatefold, laminated sleeve with superb photos of the band) 54-minute British black vinyl, containing radio recordings by one of the best British heavy rock bands of the early 70s. The first side has five recordings of excellent quality, recorded for BBC radio in 1970-1971 (including two tracks with the line-up of Carl Palmer and John Cann), and four tracks recorded live in the studio at the same time for TV Bremen - also with perfect sound. Note! The BBC recordings sound right for the first time, as it turned out that the earlier versions (released, among others, on the Hux label's CD "Devil's Answer" and as bonus tracks on the reissues of the first two CDs from Sanctuary) sounded far too slow (a few of them can be found on YouTube for comparison) - so slow that they were impossible to listen to! Now all of the first five compositions sound excellent! From start to finish it is a wonderful record - as good as (if not better than) the classic "Death Walks Behind You"! A must! -

ANALOGUE SOUND! A very rare, first, excellent-sounding German EMI 1980 edition. This was a reactivation by the leader Vincent Crane - with the guitarist/vocalist John Cann, that is the more important 2/3 of the line-up from the period of the LP "Death Walks Behind You". Released after a 7-year break, the band's sixth album contained very nice, juicy, hard rock material - which could just as well have been made much earlier. It is better than the records with Farlowe - not to mention the mediocre LP "Headline News" (1983). Great condition! The sole album by a British band performing music that combined the styles of The Moody Blues, The Beatles (from the "Abbey Road" period) and Neil Young, with elaborate vocal parts. Released in 1971 by Polydor, the record unfortunately got no promotion at all and vanished completely on the market of the day. A 2013 reissue limited to 500 copies, released by Record Collector Magazine. It contains a gatefold insert with lyrics and photos, a certificate and an additional single. Highly recommended! (JL) -

A new, European reissue of the third album, released in 1973 by Vertigo, by an excellent Norwegian band, once in the absolute top ranks of progressive rock from Scandinavia. It was a logical development of the second album in their discography, the brilliant LP "Loaded", although it was a somewhat gentler work, with plenty of Hammonds, a solid rhythm section and original melodies. The last ten minutes are progressive mastery of the world! The original Norwegian vinyl in perfect condition costs 800 euros, so it is probably worth investing 3% of that amount in an almost identical-looking, attractive edition in a gatefold sleeve and with great sound. Released by Philips in 1972, and now reissued in France, the second LP in the discography, "Loaded" (in perfect condition and with the limited poster, worth over 2000 euros on the original Philips vinyl), is without doubt the best hard-progressive album ever made in Norway and at the same time in the top three of Scandinavian rock! A very dynamic, rock sound based on the interplay of guitars, organ and a very juicy rhythm section. Looseness and precision at the same time - these qualities characterised many bands from the North. In addition, three tracks from the first two singles have been placed on the vinyl, including the fantastic "Stop Your Wishful Thinking", built on a very catchy riff - probably the band's strongest track! Excellent sound quality and excellent, clean pressing! A MUST! (JL) -
