JAN AKKERMAN & KAZ LUX - Eli - WEA Edition - UNIKALNY CD

The album "Eli" is the result of a collaboration between two musicians: Jan Akkerman and Kaz Lux. Akkerman – a Dutch guitarist and composer, considered one of the most important musicians in the history of Dutch rock – gained fame in the 70s as a co-founder of the band Focus. Kaz Lux, a Dutchman of Polish origin, became famous as the charismatic frontman of the progressive band Brainbox, and later as a soloist with an expressive, vivid voice. Musically "Eli" (1976) combines progressive rock with elements of jazz, at times also brushing against soul. The whole is varied – alongside calmer, more atmospheric passages there are extended forms with rich, polished arrangements and a clearly marked role for the guitar. Only one copy. New, sealed.
