GOBLIN (see also: Cherry Five) - GOBLIN - Contamination (Colonna Sonora Originale Del Film) - ITA RED VINYL Press - LISTENprice: 160,00 PLN / 40,00 EUR
A soundtrack album for the 1980 film "Contamination" (also known under the titles "Alien Contamination", "Toxic Spawn" and "Larvae"), directed by Luigi Cozzi. Limited 2021 edition, in a gatefold sleeve, on red vinyl. -
GOBLIN (see also: Cherry Five) - GOBLIN - Roller - AMS Records Pressprice: 140,00 PLN / 35,00 EUR
Musically Roller is a combination of progressive rock with jazz-rock freedom and a characteristic, slightly dark atmosphere. Analogue synthesisers dominate (including Moog-style sounds), a dense, "walking" bass and precise, dynamic drumming. The pieces are extended, full of changes of tempo and mood — from pulsating, almost funky passages to spacious, trance-like keyboard passages. Guitars appear sparingly, more often building tension than playing classic riffs. It is an instrumental album, but very "cinematic" — the tension builds gradually, the melodies are hypnotic, and the whole sounds like a soundtrack to a non-existent science fiction thriller. New, sealed. -
GOBLIN (see also: Cherry Five) - GOBLIN - Suspiria (Colonna Sonora Originale Del Film) - AMS Records Pressprice: 160,00 PLN / 40,00 EUR
The music on the album was composed for the film Suspiria, directed by Dario Argento. It is a cult Italian horror from 1977 about a young ballerina who ends up at a dance school hiding a dark secret. Goblin's music builds its intense, dreamlike atmosphere - it is dark, hypnotic and disturbingly beautiful. Suspiria is one of the most evocative soundtracks in the history of horror – full of whispers, pulsating synthesiser and a ritual atmosphere. New, sealed. -
GOBLIN (see also: Cherry Five) - GOBLIN - Zombi (Colonna Sonora Originale Del Film) - ITA RED VINYL Press - LISTENprice: 160,00 PLN / 40,00 EUR
A soundtrack album for Dario Argento's film "Zombi", which was his own cut of the American-Italian "Dawn Of The Dead" (the sequel to "Night Of The Living Dead") directed by George A. Romero, from 1978, performed by the Italian band. Limited 2021 edition, in a gatefold sleeve, on red vinyl. -
GOBLIN (see also: Cherry Five) - GOBLIN - Profondo Rosso (Colonna Sonora Originale Del Film) - ITA 140g Press - LISTENprice: 140,00 PLN / 35,00 EUR
A soundtrack album for the 1975 film "Profondo rosso" ("Deep Red"), composed and performed mainly by the Italian progressive band Goblin, which was the band's first collaboration with the director Dario Argento. Argento originally contacted the jazz pianist and composer Giorgio Gaslini to write the music for the film, but was dissatisfied with his work, finding it "awful". After failing to persuade Pink Floyd, Argento returned to Italy and came across the band Goblin. 2023 Italian edition, in a gatefold sleeve. -
GODS (see also: Uriah Heep/Toe Fat/Head Machine) - GODS - Genesis - EU Press - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 100,00 PLN / 25,00 EUR
The Gods are a truly important and charming, though still underrated British band with Ken Hensley, Paul Newton and Lee Kerslake - all three of whom later appeared in Uriah Heep! To all intents and purposes this debut album (recorded at Abbey Road and released in the autumn of 1968 by EMI Columbia) could well have been made under that name... as a psychedelic debut! Lots of Hammonds, nice guitars, Hensley's familiar vocals, quite a strong sound (Vanilla Fudge/Cream/Beatles), and at the same time plenty of thoroughbred, psychedelic moods straight out of "Sgt. Pepper", "Shades Of Deep Purple" or "Odessey And Oracle". All the recordings are interspersed with short sound collages that the musicians of Pink Floyd would not have been ashamed of! Well, it is worth discovering this album anew! -
GOLDEN EARRING - GOLDEN EARRING - Eight Miles High - EU Music On Vinyl / Red Bullet Remastered RED VINYL Limited Press - LISTENprice: 150,00 PLN / 37,50 EUR
A wonderful album from 1969, with a nearly 20-minute version of the famous title track by The Byrds. This album is where the classic, rock Golden Earring begins! All the albums from 1969-73 have my 100% recommendation; and the guitar-driven, hard rock records made up to 1977 are also worth recommending!!! Remastered, numbered 2022 reissue on red vinyl. -

The most popular (alongside Focus) band from the Netherlands. Classic rock playing in the English style. All the records from 1969-74 maintain a high, even standard. The live double album contains classic material in very good, dynamic versions. Highly recommended! Remastered 2022 edition, on grey vinyl, limited to 2000 copies. -
GOLDEN EARRING - GOLDEN EARRING - Moontan - EU Music On Vinyl / Red Bullet 180g Pressprice: 155,00 PLN / 38,75 EUR
A revelation! This is the record with the famous "Radar Love", and it is not at all the best track... Almost all the tracks run to 7-8 minutes. A MUST! (JL) -
GOLDENROD - GOLDENROD - Goldenrod - UK Cosmic Rock Limited 180g Press - LISTENprice: 145,00 PLN / 36,25 EUR
An American trio with a single album to their name - containing four long, instrumental, psychedelic improvisations at times bringing to mind Cream, Hendrix, Josefus ("Dead Man") and early Pink Floyd. GOTHAM CITY - GOTHAM CITY - Black Writs 1983 MINI LP +2 (+ Gotham City debut single, 1982) - EU Ethelion Expanded Limited Press - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 110,00 PLN / 27,50 EUR
A limited reissue of the 1983 mini album, lasting 25 minutes and containing six tracks, by a Swedish band playing top-class traditional metal - in the style of Heavy Load, Witch Cross and Judas Priest, with strong NWOBHM influences. The original vinyl currently costs 400-500 euros! Also included are both tracks from the super-rare (worth 800 euros on Discogs!!!), excellent debut single! This record, 35 minutes in total, is an excellent complement to the classic and phenomenal 1984 LP "The Unknown" (also reissued by Ethelion) and is sure to delight all lovers of old heavy music! Excellent sound! A must! Condition: NEW, unsealed. (JL) -
GOTHAM CITY - GOTHAM CITY - The Unknown - EU Ethelion Limited Press - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 110,00 PLN / 27,50 EUR
A reissue in a laminated sleeve, almost indistinguishable in appearance from the 1984 original, of the only, but superb, album by a Swedish band playing top-shelf traditional metal - in the style of Heavy Load, Witch Cross and Judas Priest, and showing strong influences of the NWOBHM movement (Iron Maiden and Diamond Head). Many fans consider "The Unknown" the best achievement of Swedish metal of the 80s, and the original vinyl now costs 500-600 euros! This record will certainly delight all lovers of old heavy playing! Excellent sound! A must! Condition: NEW, but unsealed. -
GRAVY TRAIN - GRAVY TRAIN - (A Ballad Of) A Peaceful Man - EU Repertoire COLOURED VINYL Press - LISTENprice: 150,00 PLN / 37,50 EUR
A great, second album by the band (somewhat gentler than the debut), being a combination of the style of early Jethro Tull and The Moody Blues. A 2023 reissue, on coloured vinyl. -
GRAVY TRAIN - GRAVY TRAIN - Second Birth - FRA Long Hair Press - LISTENprice: 170,00 PLN / 42,50 EUR
Released at the beginning of 1973, the third album in the discography (and the first for the Dawn label - after leaving Vertigo) is without a doubt the hardest, most dynamic title in the career of this British, hard-progressive band. According to conventional opinion it is a rather average record, but for me heavy, juicy playing of the early Jethro Tull (lots of strong flute) or Uriah Heep kind is never average. Half of the album is simply superb and beats the vast majority of the material from the first two albums hands down, while the remaining four tracks (including one very Beatles-like) do not drop below a good level. It is a genuinely very good record and, what is more, one that sounds very good! A 2020 reissue. Highly recommended! -
GRIFFIN - GRIFFIN - Protectors Of The Lair (2LP) - GER Remastered Press - LISTENprice: 145,00 PLN / 36,25 EUR
Released at the beginning of 1986 by the German Steamhammer, the second album by one of the best bands from the American power-speed metal circle. The band's fans are divided on the question of which record is better - generally with a lean towards the pioneering debut! The 'second one' is much faster and more thrash (the guitar work, and especially the solos, is incredible) and for me - slightly better than the already sensational debut! And the whole thing begins with the words: 'Here lies the body of the Polish king'... An absolute heavy metal masterpiece! A two-disc 2021 edition. On the first LP a new mix from 2020, and on the second the original. -

GROUNDHOGS (see also: John Dummer Band / Egg) - GROUNDHOGS - Hogwash + BBC Live 1972 (2LP) - UK Fire Records Remastered Expanded BLUE VINYL Limited Press - LISTENprice: 210,00 PLN / 52,50 EUR
A superb sixth album by the band, from 1972. Probably the most varied and spacious in their discography (with lots of Mellotron, among other things!). It is also one of my two or three favourite records by this heavy progressive blues band, still underrated in our country! Remastered 2022 edition on blue vinyl, limited to a thousand copies. Plus a SUPERB, long-awaited concert recorded by the band for the BBC on 7 December 1972. A MUST! (JL) -

Excellent, strongly psychedelic guitar playing with a small amount of vocals. 2024 edition, on coloured vinyl. A must! (JL) -
