GOBLIN - Profondo Rosso (Colonna Sonora Originale Del Film) - ITA 140g Press - LISTEN

A soundtrack album for the 1975 film "Profondo rosso" ("Deep Red"), composed and performed mainly by the Italian progressive band Goblin, which was the band's first collaboration with the director Dario Argento. Argento originally contacted the jazz pianist and composer Giorgio Gaslini to write the music for the film, but was dissatisfied with his work, finding it "awful". After failing to persuade Pink Floyd, Argento returned to Italy and came across the band Goblin. 2023 Italian edition, in a gatefold sleeve.
