TALKING HEADS - TALKING HEADS - Remain In Light - EU 180g Press - LISTENprice: 140,00 PLN / 35,00 EUR
In the opinion of most fans and critics this is the band's best album. The band was again assisted by Brian Eno, and the record features, besides him, among others the guitarist Adrian Belew, known for his collaboration with Frank Zappa and David Bowie (and soon a musician associated with the new incarnation of King Crimson). TAMAM SHUD (see also: Kahvas Jute) - TAMAM SHUD - Evolution +1 - EU Eclipse Remastered Edition - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 60,00 PLN / 15,00 EUR
This is one of my most favourite and most often played little-known records! A remastered and very good-sounding reissue of the debut album, recorded in two and a half hours and released in early 1969, by a genuinely cult Australian band. This sensational LP has great compositions, plenty of overdriven guitars and a lot of psychedelia, that is, a cross between Hendrix and Cream with a pinch of late Beatles. There are no weak moments on the record and every fan of old rock should simply have this title in their collection! A must! (JL) -
TANGERINE DREAM - TANGERINE DREAM - Force Majeure +1 - EU Remastered Editionprice: 60,00 PLN / 15,00 EUR
Alongside the brilliant, psychedelic debut this is probably the most rock record (that is, recorded with a rhythm section) in the band's discography - full of enchanting melodies and quite dynamic guitar parts! A 2019 remastered edition, with one bonus track. Recommended! (JL) -

TAPESTRY - TAPESTRY - ...And Other Lost UK Progressive Bands - British Radio Sessions 1969-1971 - FRA On The Air - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 60,00 PLN / 15,00 EUR
Excellent compilation CD released by a small French label. The driving force of this release is the sensational formation Tapestry - an excellent British progressive group resembling the folk-progressive Trees and a delicate, very early Genesis in one - with female and male vocals. For unknown reasons the group never signed a record contract, but in August 1971 it played a concert at the BBC's London headquarters, a 25-minute excerpt of which was recorded and released in 1971... in 100 copies! I stress: this is fantastic, sophisticated, airy, melodic, progressive playing that should delight every fan of this genre! AN ABSOLUTE Must! The remaining 55 minutes are filled with generally excellent recordings from BBC promotional vinyls (together with the announcements of Brian Matthew, whom I adore) by unknown, or completely forgotten, formations, such as the heavy, psychedelic Griffin (that is, post-Skip Bifferty with a young Alan White on drums), the folk-progressive Ora (here exceptionally with the later rhythm section... of Wishbone Ash), Wommet (that is, pre-Mick Abrahams Band with violin), Blodwyn (that is, the declining Blodwyn Pig without Mick Abrahams but with... Peter Banks of Yes), the excellent, guitar-driven, intense Sweet Marriage (not known from the one single released in Germany - it is on some compilation from the label Wooden Hill) or finally the completely unknown, hard rock Natural Gas (sounding like Leaf Hound or a heavier Humble Pie) and Welfare State - the psychedelic-electronic White Noise collaborating with a theatre group... The whole thing sounds very professional and very clean. This is a truly sensational CD - without a doubt one of the most interesting and, all in all, most surprising reissues of recent years! A MUST! -

TARANTULA (SPA prog) - TARANTULA - Tarantula 1 - EU Walhalla Remastered Edition - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 60,00 PLN / 15,00 EUR
Debut album, released in 1976, by a Spanish progressive formation. It is dominated by art-rock, symphonic, keyboard (mainly mellotron) moods in the style of Refugee, Yes, Le Orme and P.F.M. enriched with nice electric guitar parts (at moments quite heavy) and a strong vocal. Classic, art-rock playing at a high level. -

The CD contains material from two lesser-known, though catalogue, albums. The first LP is a recording of a fantastic concert from London's Marquee (from October 1968) - which was, incidentally, meant to be this band's actual debut! Officially the material came out only in Germany in 1978 as "Taste Featuring Rory Gallagher - In Concert". The second part of the CD is a session from 1967 recorded still in Ireland (released by Decca in 1974 as "Rory Gallagher - In The Beginning"). A must! -

TEE SET (see also: After Tea) - TEE SET - She Likes Weeds (1966-1977) (2CD) - NL Pseudonym Remastered Edition - LISTENprice: 100,00 PLN / 25,00 EUR
Released as a box set, a two-disc anthology of 47 recordings by a Dutch pop rock formation. The release contains single tracks and tracks known from the main records, from 1966-1977, as well as three compositions from 1988. It is worth noting that in 1967 three members of Tee Set founded the decidedly more rock-oriented After Tea, known above all for the excellent, heavy rock LP "Joint House Blues" (1970)! Recommended! (K) -
TEE SET (see also: After Tea) - TEE SET - Emotion (+ Rarities 1966-1968) (2CD) - NL Pseudonym Remastered Expanded Deluxe Editionprice: 70,00 PLN / 17,50 EUR
"Emotion" is the debut album by the Dutch group, containing covers of Wilson Pickett ("In The Midnight Hour"), Joe Tex ("You Better Believe It"), Rufus Thomas ("Can Your Monkey Do The Dog"), Sam Cooke ("Nothing Can Ever Change This Love" and "For Miss Caulker Of The Animals"), as well as the group's original tracks, including the single "Don't You Leave", which for the first time took the band into the top ten of the charts. On this remastered edition, the additional CD contains demo versions and alternative mixes of the group's tracks. -
TEMPEST (see also: Colosseum / Juicy Lucy) - TEMPEST - In Concert 1973-1974 (2LP) - EU Limited Press - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 170,00 PLN / 42,50 EUR
A superb, 80-minute double vinyl containing excellent radio material taken from the mega-rare promotional BBC Transcription Service records - issued exclusively for radio stations and absolutely never available in shops! Tempest was formed on the initiative of Colosseum leader Jon Hiseman, bassist Mark Clarke (Colosseum, Uriah Heep), vocalist Paul Williams (ex-Bluesbreakers, Juicy Lucy) and the outstanding guitarist Allan Holdsworth (Igginbottom, Nucleus, and later in Soft Machine and U.K.). The first 54 minutes are a recording of an exquisite concert played as a quintet - with two guitarists: Holdsworth and Ollie Halsall (ex-Patto). As it happened, Halsall, now regarded as one of the best guitarists in rock history, joined the band... a day earlier, hence the guitar attack here is unbelievable! Seriously, there are moments here that are almost impossible to believe! The last 26 minutes are a performance from 1974 - recorded after the release of the second LP - as a trio, though the playing is still very good! ATTENTION! The 1973 material came out a few years ago on the double CD anthology "Under The Blossom", but, with no original BBC vinyl available, Sanctuary used an old bootleg, which was not only muffled but also slowed down! I assure you that the version on this album, limited to 500 copies, simply sounds stunning! The two heavy vinyl records sound perfect - without any surface noise! A MUST! -
