MERCYFUL FATE - MERCYFUL FATE - Live In Copenhagen 1982 - FRA Verne Limited Press - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 110,00 PLN / 27,50 EUR
A limited live album (on black vinyl), released in a run of 500 copies, containing the band's 52-minute early concert, recorded professionally (a so-called soundboard recording) by the group in March 1982 - a full eight months before the release of the debut EP. This was already classic Mercyful Fate (something like a combination of early Black Sabbath with Judas Priest) in the line-up of the first two albums, though some of the recordings had early, unknown arrangements, and King Diamond did not always 'deliver' vocally... A fascinating moment in the history of metal! The laminated, very attractive cover contains several rare, nice photographs of the band, then completely unknown outside Denmark! This is probably the only concert of classic Mercyful Fate recorded in great quality! An absolute must! Condition: NEW, unsealed. (JL) -

This was already classic Mercyful Fate (a combination of early Black Sabbath with Judas Priest), in the line-up from the first two albums, though some of the recordings had early, unknown arrangements. A fascinating moment in the history of metal! The attractive cover contains several rare, nice photos of a band that was then completely unknown outside Denmark! METAL CHURCH - METAL CHURCH - Blessing In Disguise - EU Music On Vinyl 180g Pressprice: 155,00 PLN / 38,75 EUR

METAL CHURCH - METAL CHURCH - Live In Mounds View 1985 +3 - FRA On The Air Edition - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 60,00 PLN / 15,00 EUR
A great-sounding, 70-minute CD containing a full recording of a very nice, hour-long concert that the band recorded in one of the American clubs in November 1985, on the tour promoting the fantastic debut LP "Metal Church" (1984). Additionally three very rare (and so far not reissued on CD) tracks from two cult compilations from 1984 ("Deathwish" and "The Brave") and a bonus ("Big Guns") released only on the first German vinyl edition of the debut by the Steamhammer label are included! The sound quality (coming from the mixing desk or else it is a great 'audience recording') is almost ideal - better than the content of the YouTube link visible below. A must for every fan of classic metal! (JL) -
METAL CHURCH - METAL CHURCH - Metal Church - EU Music On Vinyl 180g Press - LISTENprice: 150,00 PLN / 37,50 EUR
One of the best records in the history of metal! The album originally came out as early as 1984 on a small label and was reissued by Elektra only a year later - that is the date that appears on the CD. Metal Church's debut is a fantastic combination of traditional metal in the vein of Judas Priest, Accept and Savatage - with a pinch of the thrash in the vein of Metallica that was so refreshing at the time. The record has a superb, very clear, dynamic sound! 2016 audiophile edition, on 180-gram vinyl. -
METALLICA - METALLICA - Live At The Keystone 1983 - FRA Verne Limited Press - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 110,00 PLN / 27,50 EUR
A 59-minute album released by Verne Records on limited black vinyl and in a very attractive, laminated sleeve, documenting the band during the tour promoting the debut "Kill 'Em All" (1983). The concert, recorded on Halloween (31 October), had previously appeared in the multi-disc CD box set "Kill 'Em All" and is well recorded (straight from the mixing desk) - perhaps not perfectly, but given the conditions it would have been hard to do better. The record contains the world premiere of "Creeping Death", "Fight Fire With Fire", "Ride The Lightning" and "Call Of Ktulu". An absolute must! Condition: MINT, NEW, UNSEALED. (JL) -
METALLICA - METALLICA - Garage Inc. Promo Tour - Live In New York 1998 (2LP) - FRA Verne Limited Press - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 170,00 PLN / 42,50 EUR
A full edition, limited to 500 copies, on double black vinyl, of a superb, 100-minute Metallica performance (still with Jason Newsted), professionally recorded at the Roseland Ballroom in New York, in November 1998, during the tour promoting the brilliant album "Garage Inc.". It was the only time that Metallica played exclusively compositions 'that they would have liked to have written themselves' and the band sounded sensational! So there are recordings here by Budgie, Mercyful Fate, Black Sabbath, Queen, Mercyful Fate, Diamond Head, Thin Lizzy and others. Additionally three rare recordings from the performance recorded the day before in Philadelphia ("Killing Time", "Blitzkrieg" and "So What") are included! The very attractive, laminated cover contains several nice photographs, and the sound quality is simply excellent! Much better than the old VHS version from YouTube. This is an absolute must for all fans of heavy playing! Condition: MINT (NEW, UNSEALED). -
METALLICA - METALLICA - Live In Gothenburg 1987 - SPA Top Gear Edition - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 60,00 PLN / 15,00 EUR
Limited to 500 copies, a superb, 80-minute recording of Metallica's show in Gothenburg, Sweden, on 13 February 1987! This concert took place three days after the band's show in Katowice - it wrapped up the first European tour with the then-new bassist, Jason Newsted! While the Katowice show exists on bootlegs in dreadful sound quality, Gothenburg was broadcast on the radio and in my opinion, along with Seattle 1989 (from the official box set "Live Shit & Binge"), it is the best and best-recorded Metallica concert of the entire 80s!!! The sound quality is almost ideal, the setlist comes from the first three albums and is a dream! It is hard to imagine a better setlist! The band played solidly, cleanly and a little sharper than on the records, yet still selectively! Besides, it was the last tour on which James Hetfield sang in a higher key - just two years later he began saving his voice... The booklet contains a dozen or so really nice photos from that period, including group shots with Poland's Kat! This is an absolute must for all fans of heavy music! (JL) -
METALLICA - METALLICA - Live In Mountain View 1989 (2LP) - FRA Verne Limited Press - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 170,00 PLN / 42,50 EUR
A full edition limited to 500 copies, on two black vinyl discs, of a superb, over 100-minute Metallica performance, professionally recorded by the band in September 1989, during the tour promoting the LP "...And Justice For All". The band was in mind-blowing form, the set of recordings simply superb, and the sound quality great, though because of the mix slightly inferior to the legendary Seattle performance, from the same tour. It is an absolute must for all metal fans! Condition: MINT, NEW, unsealed. -

METALLICA - METALLICA - Live In Gothenburg 1987 (2LP) - FRA Verne Limited Press - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 170,00 PLN / 42,50 EUR
Limited to 500 copies, on two black vinyl records, a French full edition (including the bass and guitar solos - omitted on the 80-minute Top Gear CD version) of Metallica's superb 90-minute show in Gothenburg, Sweden, from 13 February 1987. In addition, three rare recordings of great quality from the "Garage EP" tour ("Leper Messiah", "Blitzkrieg" and "Last Caress") have been included! This concert took place three days after the band's show in Katowice - it wrapped up the first European tour with the then-new bassist Jason Newsted! The band played solidly, cleanly and a little sharper than on the records, yet still selectively! Besides, it was the last tour on which James Hetfield sang in a higher key - just two years later he began saving his voice... A superb, laminated sleeve and very good sound quality! METALLICA - METALLICA - No Life 'Til Leather - Early Demos 1982-1983 - FRA Verne Limited Press - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 110,00 PLN / 27,50 EUR
Released in France, in a run of 500 copies, the album gathers the contents of three legendary demo tapes ("No Life 'Til Leather", "Power Metal" and "Megaforce Demo") professionally recorded in the studio and released/handed out on cassettes by the band (mainly in the line-up James Hetfield, Dave Mustaine, Ron McGovney and Lars Ulrich + Cliff Burton on two recordings from the third demo) between the spring of 1982 and the spring of 1983. The running time of the record did not allow for one recording to be included, namely the version of "Hit The Lights" known to fans, released as early as 1982 by the Metal Blade label on the legendary compilation "Metal Massacre". The quality of this 52-minute and many times reissued material FOR THE FIRST TIME IN HISTORY (apart from the cassette tape released a few years ago on Record Store Day by the band) is perfect - 80% of the record sounds like a catalogue, somewhat raw-produced, studio album! Importantly - on this occasion the tape speed was corrected, the hiss removed and the sound brightened! And here you can clearly hear how very talented and how immensely powerful this band was! The laminated, very attractive cover contains several rare, nice photographs of the then teenage band! An absolute must! Condition: MINT (NEW, UNSEALED). -
