EGG (see also: Arzachel / Khan / Groundhogs) - EGG - Polite Force - UK Esoteric Remastered Edition - LISTENprice: 70,00 PLN / 17,50 EUR
Remastered British Esoteric edition of the excellent second album by the group - just as good as the debut! Only four tracks - including another 20-minute suite. A must! (JL) -
EILIFF - EILIFF - Eiliff / Girlrls - GER Edition - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 60,00 PLN / 15,00 EUR
Great, classically progressive, slightly jazzy krautrock playing in the style of Emergency, Thirsty Moon and to some extent Colosseum. Excellent production! Both studio albums (the debut from 1971, and the 'second' with the revolting cover, from 1972) were once released by Philips. Highly recommended! (JL) -
EIRE APPARENT (see also: Jimi Hendrix / Ernie Graham) - EIRE APPARENT - Sunrise +7 - SWE Flawed Gems Expanded Edition - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 60,00 PLN / 15,00 EUR
This excellent album, released in spring 1969, was produced by Jimi Hendrix! More importantly, the brilliant guitarist appeared on as many as nine tracks, where he either played solo parts or embellished them in his own way. But even without Hendrix's participation it would be a great psychedelic album (sometimes lighter, sometimes heavier...), combining nice, catchy melodies with professional performance - as befitted 1969. The six-minute, almost epic "Mr. Guy Fawkes", meanwhile, is one of the best psychedelic tracks I have heard in my life! I find it a little hard to understand how such good material went almost completely unnoticed! In addition, two very rare tracks from the debut single are included, as well as 33 minutes of archive live material (of heavily bootleg quality) recorded in January 1969 in Germany. In any case, fans of Tomorrow, Pretty Things, Grapefruit (from the debut period) and of course the Jimi Hendrix Experience cannot properly function without this record! Excellent sound quality! A MUST! -

ELASTIC BAND (see also: Sweet / Mayfield's Mule) - ELASTIC BAND - Expansions On Life +4 - EU Prog Gems Expanded Limited Edition - VERY RARE - LISTENprice: 55,00 PLN / 13,75 EUR
A long-awaited edition of the only, but great, album, released by Decca in January 1970, by a British progressive band playing ambitious blues-jazz-psych rock typical of 1969, with saxophone, flute and Hammond organ, in the vein of early Jethro Tull (from the period of the debut LP "This Was"), Procol Harum, and even The Moody Blues - with a vocal reminiscent of David Clayton-Thomas of Blood Sweat And Tears. On guitar was the underrated Andy Scott - already a year later attacking with riffs in Sweet. Additionally four decent recordings from rhythm'n'blues/pop-psychedelic singles from 1968. A must! Condition: New, sealed. (JL) -

ELECTRIC FOOD (see also: Pink Mice / Lucifer's Friend - ELECTRIC FOOD - Electric Food / Flash - GER Edition - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 60,00 PLN / 15,00 EUR
Two great albums on a single CD containing pure heavy rock (with Hammond) in the vein of Black Sabbath/Uriah Heep/Free - with occasional influences of psychedelia. The track Nosferatu is an absolute monster! Under this pseudonym were hiding the musicians also known as Lucifer's Friend (but still without vocalist John Lawton). For 1970 it was genuinely intense playing! Highly recommended! -
ELECTRIC LIGHT ORCHESTRA - ELECTRIC LIGHT ORCHESTRA - Electric Light Orchestra II - US United Artists 1973 1st Press - NEAR MINT VINTAGE VINYLprice: 350,00 PLN / 87,50 EUR
ANALOGUE SOUND! A very rare, first American United Artists edition (from 1973, in a completely changed sleeve compared with the UK version) of the most 'progressive' record by this band. The album contains four expansive recordings, combining the style of classic, Beatles-like rock with typical prog rock of the time, and the hit "Roll Over Beethoven" - the track thanks to which Jeff Lynne's band gained worldwide popularity! It really is a piece of good and quite inventive playing. Additionally an inner sleeve with lyrics. Great condition! The stiff, gatefold sleeve has slight scuffs, otherwise it is very fresh: EXCELLENT+ / The record almost like new: MINT(-) -

ELECTRIC PRUNES - ELECTRIC PRUNES - Mass In F Minor - GER Reprise Editionprice: 60,00 PLN / 15,00 EUR
This is a practically instrumental, intriguing rock mass. "Kyrie Eleison" was used in the film "Easy Rider". A 2000 German edition of the cult, psychedelic record. For some it is the best album in the band's discography, although most prefer the first two titles... Highly recommended! (JL) -

The rest are "Release Of An Oath" from 1968 and "Just Good Old Rock And Roll" from 1969. The fifth CD contains single tracks and alternative versions of recordings, and the last disc is taken up by: the live "Stockholm 67" (45 minutes from 14 December 1967, from the archives of Swedish radio, with very good sound quality and superb playing by the band) and four demo tracks. The whole thing in a rigid box, with a booklet containing an extensive history of the band by Gray Newell, including detailed recollections of the original vocalist James Lowe and a key member of the band's later incarnation, Richard Whetstone. A MUST! (MU)
