OWEN, RAY -MOON- (see also: Juicy Lucy / Andromeda) - RAY OWEN'S MOON - Moon - AUT Remastered Edition - VERY RARE - LISTENprice: 60,00 PLN / 15,00 EUR
Reissue of the great, released in 1971 by Polydor, only album by the British heavy rock formation Moon, led by Ray Owen - the vocalist known from the Juicy Lucy debut. The group's line-up included the Methuselah guitarist Les Nicol and Ian McLane - the drummer known from the Andromeda album! The band presented heavy, dynamic and quite intense guitar playing with slight influences of psychedelia and blues. The record has a very nice version of Hendrix's "Voodoo Chile"! Excellent sound quality, though very modest artwork (as on the vinyl). On the other hand the original vinyl sleeve showed nothing more. This is a real treat for lovers of old, heavy playing! Highly recommended! -

Nice compositions, very good guitars. The CD additionally has four single tracks. Recommended! (JL) -

OXFORDS - OXFORDS - Flying Up Through The Sky - GRE Missing Vinyl - LISTENprice: 125,00 PLN / 31,25 EUR
Released in 1970, the sole album by this American band is a richly arranged, nicely produced (strings), soft rock masterpiece with a truly great female vocal, with a slight jazzy flavour (flute) and finally with organ and a decidedly rock rhythm section. At times it brings to mind the American Genesis. This album will delight all lovers of ambitious, late pop-psychedelia. Highly recommended! -

PALADIN (see also: Procol Harum) - PALADIN - Charge! - IRL Rabbit Hall Press - VERY RAREprice: 110,00 PLN / 27,50 EUR
The second album, more hard-rock (than the progressive debut), by a forgotten British band, resembling the work of early Uriah Heep with a pinch of Procol Harum. A 2016 reissue, in a gatefold sleeve. Recommended! (JL) -
PALADIN (see also: Procol Harum) - PALADIN - Paladin / Charge (2CD) - UK BGO Remastered Editionprice: 95,00 PLN / 23,75 EUR
Both albums by a British band playing varied, at times rather heavy music based on the interplay of guitars and organs, while inspired by the work of early Santana. The second record was more hard rock, reminiscent of Uriah Heep, with a pinch of Procol Harum. -
PALMER, BRUCE (see also: Buffalo Springfield) - BRUCE PALMER - Cycle Is Complete - ITA Akarma Pressprice: 160,00 PLN / 40,00 EUR

PAN (see also: Delta Blues Band / Blast Furnace) - PAN - Pan +3 - SWE Flawed Gems Expanded Edition - VERY RARE - LISTENprice: 60,00 PLN / 15,00 EUR
How good it is that there is such a label as Flawed Gems - releasing forgotten, but excellent titles and combining tasteful artwork with excellent, juicy and almost analogue sound. Professionally remastered, released in the original cover and without a doubt the best-sounding (e.g. compared with the dull CD from the dreadful Danish label Karma...) edition of the only, but superb, album by a Danish progressive formation. Released in May 1970 and excellently produced, the LP contained a mixture of heavy rock, folk, jazz and classical music, that is, it was an utterly progressive album. This album, full of changing moods, was characterised by the spacious interplay of Hammond organ, intense electric guitar parts and nice vocals (with two tracks in French). In addition, 2 tracks from a single and an alternative version are included. Compared with the earlier Karma version, however, there are (fortunately) none of the four poor, country-style live tracks, already recorded with a changed line-up. A top-drawer progressive classic! A MUST! (JL) -
PANTA REI - PANTA REI - Panta Rei - EU Sun King Limited Press - VERY RARE - LISTENprice: 110,00 PLN / 27,50 EUR
A new, limited, vinyl reissue from Sun King. In my humble opinion, this album, released in 1973 (by EMI Harvest), is the best Swedish rock LP of the 70s! What a shame that this superb band recorded only one long-player! The whole thing was filled with heavy, exemplary progressive playing, played with ease... with a pinch of folk (that is, traditional music). Catchy melodies, excellent instrumental skill; plenty of guitars, occasionally flute and saxophone, a solid, somewhat broken rhythm, long tracks and zero musical filler! You simply must not pass up this title! The laminated, glossy sleeve looks almost identical to the Swedish original worth 500 euros! AN ABSOLUTE MUST! Condition: NEW, UNSEALED. (JL) -
PANTA REI - PANTA REI - Panta Rei - SWE Flawed Gems Remastered Edition - VERY RARE - LISTENprice: 60,00 PLN / 15,00 EUR
In my humble opinion, this album, released in 1973 (by EMI Harvest), is the best Swedish rock LP of the 70s! Unlike the previous (rather heavily crackly and hissy) editions, the remastered Flawed Gems version sounds simply excellent! What a pity that this sensational band recorded only one LP! The whole thing was filled with playing performed with ease... heavy, exemplary progressive playing with a pinch of folk (that is, traditional music). Catchy melodies, excellent instrumental craftsmanship; plenty of guitars, sometimes an occasional flute and saxophone, a solid, slightly broken rhythm, long tracks and zero musical filler! You simply must not pass this title up! A MUST! -
