LOS SHAKERS - Los Shakers - Los Shakers / Break It All (2LP) - Guerssen Records Editionprice: 180,00 PLN / 45,00 EUR
A set of two albums: Los Shakers (1965) and Break It All (1966) by the Uruguayan group Los Shakers is one of the best examples of global "Beatlemania" - Los Shakers were even called "the Latin American Beatles". Their dynamic music sounds at moments like a faithful copy of the early Beatles, but it is not mindless imitation. The band's greatest strength is its melodies – light, instantly ear-catching, with very good vocal harmonies and a clean guitar sound. The second album (Break It All) already shows a slight development – more of its own style, a touch of experimentation and more mature compositions. -

Shaker Mania! is a compilation of singles and rare tracks from 1965-1967 – that is their most important period of activity, omitted from the catalogue records. An excellent complement to the discographic albums! -

LOVE - LOVE - Live In England 1970 - FRA Verne Limited Press - VERY RARE - LISTENprice: 110,00 PLN / 27,50 EUR
A limited, 52-minute, superb vinyl by the legendary American band, containing excerpts from several concerts (of excellent sound quality) from February and March 1970, from the British tour that took place just after the release of the decidedly rock, psychedelic albums "Four Sail" and "Out There". A superb combination of melodic psychedelia with Hendrix-like, powerful playing for two guitars and an excellent rhythm section. This was a different, much more rock-oriented Love than the line-up of 1965-1968. The sound quality is perfect - as on the first three music links! A must! NEW, sealed. (JL) -

LOVE - Love - EU Rhino Electra STEREO Press (LP - VINYL LP)price: 150,00 PLN / 37,50 EUR
The debut album, a combination of garage and folk rock in the style of The Byrds. Highly recommended! A European replica of the original edition. -
LOVE - LOVE - Forever Changes +7 - GER Rhino Remastered Expanded Editionprice: 60,00 PLN / 15,00 EUR
In my opinion Love's third album is one of the five best albums in the history of American rock - full of genuinely beautiful and moving songs (a bit like Buffalo Springfield's "Again" combined with The Byrds' "Younger Than Yesterday" and The Moody Blues' "In Search Of The Lost Chord"); charming with its sophisticated instrumentation (the occasional strings, trumpets, classical guitars) and Arthur Lee's wonderful, almost angelic vocals - all of it served up in a delicate psychedelic sauce. For autumn 1967 it was almost a world record in 'progressive' playing, and today it is, for me, one of the 20 greatest albums of all time! Remastered edition with seven bonus tracks. A must! (JL) -
LOVE - LOVE - Forever Changes - EU Rhino Elektra Pressprice: 150,00 PLN / 37,50 EUR
A remastered, European reissue of Love's third album, in my opinion one of the five best albums in the history of American rock - containing truly beautiful and moving recordings (a bit like "Again" by Buffalo Springfield combined with "Younger Than Yesterday" by The Byrds and with "In Search Of The Lost Chord" by The Moody Blues); enchanting with refined instrumentation (occasional strings, trumpets, classical guitars), the wonderful, almost angelic vocal of Arthur Lee - and all of this prepared in a delicate, psychedelic sauce. For autumn 1967 it was almost a world record in 'ambitious' playing, and today for me it is one of the 10-15 records of all time! (JL) -

LOVE - LOVE - Four Sail - EU Music On Vinyl 180g Pressprice: 155,00 PLN / 38,75 EUR
The fourth album in the discography - at times uncannily reminiscent of the wonderful LP "Forever Changes", though somewhat sharper, especially in the superb opening track "August". Audiophile edition on 180-gram vinyl. Excellent pressing. -
LOVE AFFAIR (see also: Morgan / Elastic Band) - LOVE AFFAIR - New Day +10 - GER Repertoire Expanded Digipack Editionprice: 70,00 PLN / 17,50 EUR
On CD for the first time! The second and little-known album by one-time pop stars (the hit "Everlasting Love") - here, in 1970, decidedly looking up to Jethro Tull, Family, Traffic (flute, Hammond, guitars...) and generally the post-psychedelic, progressive scene! I have owned the record on CBS vinyl for years and even listen to it often! A beautiful release in a digipak. This album may not change anyone's life, but it will certainly appeal to everyone in love with old, classic rock from the very end of the 60s! Highly recommended! Ten bonus tracks. (JL) -
