PINK FLOYD - PINK FLOYD - Live In Oakland 1977 (2CD) - EU Supernaut Edition - VERY RARE - LISTENprice: 80,00 PLN / 20,00 EUR
A rare, limited, double CD containing the legendary show, lasting over 140 minutes, from Oakland, from 9 May 1977 - without doubt the best-sounding concert of the tour promoting "Animals". As on the previous tour ("Wish You Were Here" from 1975), nobody connected with Pink Floyd professionally recorded any concert at the time. And again a few shows were recorded, by some miracle, 'unawares' from the audience, and the Oakland concert is simply exceptional! The musical content is also simply overwhelming! The whole of "Wish You Were Here" (heavily extended, including the second part of the suite "Shine On" lasting over 20 minutes!), the whole of "Animals" (also altered/extended compared with the studio version) + two fragments from "Dark Side" and the last known live version of "Careful With That Axe Eugene"! So, as with Los Angeles 1975 or Montreux 1970, the concert, recorded among the audience on 'almost' professional equipment, sounds better than the vast majority of official mixing desk recordings. Nothing better on the subject of rare Pink Floyd from 1977 simply exists. In addition, nice artwork. This CD sounds about 10% better than the YouTube material attached. A must for fans of good playing! (JL) -
PINK FLOYD - PINK FLOYD - Animals - 2018 Remix EU Editionprice: 80,00 PLN / 20,00 EUR
Once somewhat underrated (because too strong...), today decidedly a classic album containing three long tracks and two miniatures. A remastered, new remix by James Guthrie. -

A double album containing the legendary performance from Oakland, from 9 May 1977 - without a doubt the best-sounding concert from the tour promoting "Animals". As with the previous tour ("Wish You Were Here" from 1975) nobody connected with Pink Floyd professionally recorded any concert at the time. And again several performances were recorded by some miracle 'unawares' from the audience, and the Oakland concert is simply exceptional! The musical content is also simply stunning! The whole of "Wish You Were Here" (greatly extended, including the second part of the "Shine On" suite lasting over 20 minutes!), the whole of "Animals" (also changed/extended compared with the studio version) + two excerpts from "Dark Side". So, as in the case of Los Angeles 1975 or Montreux 1970, the concert, recorded among the audience on 'almost' professional equipment, sounds better than the vast majority of official recordings from the mixing desk. Nothing better on the subject of rare Pink Floyd from 1977 simply exists. Plus nice artwork. A must for fans of good playing! (JL) -
POINT BLANK - POINT BLANK - Second Season - US Arista 1977 1st Press - NEAR MINT VINTAGE VINYLprice: 350,00 PLN / 87,50 EUR
ANALOGUE SOUND! A mega rare, first American pressing (from 1977, on the black Arista label and with an insert with a photo of the band) of the second record by a band from the American South, playing truly heavy rock full of juicy riffs with elements of blues. Perhaps the more 'southern' second album does not sound as powerful as the debut, but it undoubtedly belongs to the canon of southern rock. Perfect condition! Sleeve like new, but with two small creases on the front: MINT- / Record without a single scratch: MINT- -

QUARTZ (see also: Black Sabbath) - QUARTZ - Quartz - UK Back On Black RED VINYL Press - LAST COPIESprice: 160,00 PLN / 40,00 EUR
Released in 1977, the debut album of the later classics of the NWOBHM movement, in the style of later Black Sabbath recordings. It is no wonder, since the whole thing was produced (and Tony Iommi himself had a hand in the music) by none other than Tony Iommi, while the band's leader at the time was Geoff Nicholls, playing guitar and keyboards - later a long-time collaborator of the Sabs. The superb opening track "Mainline Raiders" uncannily recalls "Heaven And Hell", which came three years later... A British 2018 edition, no longer in production, in a gatefold sleeve, on red vinyl. -
QUARTZ (see also: Black Sabbath) - QUARTZ - Quartz +5 - EU Eclipse Expanded Edition - VERY RARE - LISTENprice: 60,00 PLN / 15,00 EUR
Released in 1977, the debut album by the later NWOBHM classics, kept in the style of Black Sabbath's later recordings. It is hardly surprising, since the whole thing was produced (and contributed to musically) by Tony Iommi himself, and the band's leader at the time was Geoff Nicholls, playing guitar and keyboards - later a long-time Sabs collaborator. The superb opening track "Mainline Raiders" uncannily recalls "Heaven And Hell", which came three years later... In addition, five great recordings from rare singles (including a Mountain cover) and compilations. Excellent sound - beating the old Majestic Rock CD hands down! Highly recommended! (JL) -

It is the ideal complement to the contents of Queen's first seven studio albums! A MUST! Condition: NEW, unsealed. -

A limited, two-disc album with black vinyl discs released in a beautiful, laminated sleeve with superb photographs of the band, containing a classic, excellent Queen performance lasting over 100 minutes, recorded in June 1977, on the concert tour promoting the LP "A Day At The Races". It is one of the two or three best concerts by the band of the 70s (alongside the Rainbow Theatre 1974 and Boston 1976)! What a set of recordings! Not only the very rarely played "Death On Two Legs", "The Millionaire Waltz", "White Man", "You Take My Breath Away", but also the most popular, or the best, titles from the first five albums! Great, almost ideal sound quality (better than on YouTube). A must not only for fans of the band! Condition: NEW, unsealed. (JL) -
