ANALOGUE SOUND! A totally mega rare, second Australian edition (from 1977) of the debut album - already without the tiny kangaroo logo on the vinyl, STILL dark blue label. The sleeve used comes from the first edition, as inside it was the earliest vinyl (with the aforementioned little kangaroo on the label), which I kept for myself (with a perfect sleeve). The version with the kangaroo is worth over 600 euros! To sum up: the used sleeve, with traces of damp, a little scuffed and acceptable, is from 1975, and the perfectly new vinyl, playing without any hiss or crackle, is from 1977. THE TITLE IS OUT OF PRINT! LAST COPIES! Classic British hard rock in the vein of Bedlam, Budgie, Stray and Dirty Tricks. An English trio playing heavy, invigorating rock with influences of blues and boogie, decidedly favouring the classic, 'old' sound of the early 70s, quite rarely encountered in 1975... A great-sounding reissue made in the original British cover. The German version from 1976 (and the early CD) had photos of the musicians on a dark background. Additionally one track from the B-side of a 1975 single has been included. Professionally recorded, but privately released by the band, the vinyl original is worth over 500 euros, so it is certainly worth investing 5% of that amount! Condition: new, sealed. A must! (JL) -

Remastered Eclipse edition of the classic, great debut album from 1975 by an American progressive band playing in the British style and combining the style of Yes, Gentle Giant and Genesis, as well as the American Kansas and Fireballet. I assure you that this is not mournful tedium, but heartfelt, fairly melodic prog-rock with a somewhat American, light vocal. Alan Parsons worked on the sound of the record (two years after working with Pink Floyd and a year before his own debut album)! Highly recommended! (JL) -

The first album, in my opinion truly great, by this once popular (especially in the USA) band, stylistically resembling early Rush, Pavlov's Dog and the lesser-known Granicus. Please don't be misled by the 'angelic' look (once devised by the Casablanca label as an 'anti-Kiss') - this band played juicy rock! A 2025 reissue. Highly recommended! (JL) -

The first two, superb and at the same time by far the best albums in the career of this once quite popular American band (discovered by Gene Simmons of Kiss) playing a combination of hard and progressive rock (with a pinch of glam). The first, in my opinion stunning (!) hard-progressive album resembled the work of early Rush (and a beefed-up Pavlov's Dog), Led Zeppelin of the time and Genesis (from the period of A Trick Of The Tail) and actually contains no weak spots! Very catchy, riffing compositions, rocking guitars, nice, very dense keyboard parts (mellotron, Moog, organ) - you cannot tear yourself away! One of the 3-5 coolest American albums of the mid-70s! The second LP (from 1976) was in a very similar and even slightly more hard-rock style. Please do not look at the smoothed-out image (supposedly in opposition to Kiss), just buy this record! An absolute must! -

The debut, "Lemmings", recorded in 1970 but not released until 1973 in France, is superb, top-shelf British heavy-progressive with clear, psychedelic touches - at moments very reminiscent of the output of T2. The CD contains the whole of the original French vinyl, but without three (slightly worse sounding) tracks from the same session, released in 1977 on a British EP enclosed with the edition there. The second LP in the discography, "Stalingrad", maintained a decent level and resembled Wishbone Ash tracks of the second half of the 70s. Highly recommended! (JL) -

Remastered British edition of the debut album by the formation founded by drummer Ginger Baker and Adrian and Paul Gurvitz (both ex-Gun and Three Man Army). The record, released in 1975 and thoroughly successful, was filled mainly with rhythmic and almost hard rock material. Worthy of note are Baker's lively drumming and several truly great tracks, such as the dynamic "Help Me", the rhythmically broken "Love Is", and above all the best on the album, the eight-minute "Mad Jack". In addition, this attractively presented CD includes a live version from 1975 of the track "Memory Lane". Recommended! -

A live album containing a recording of performances from the first tour with the line-up expanded by the vocalist Stephen Parsons and the keyboardist Peter Lemer, in 1975. The first of them (tracks 1-7) took place at the University of Reading, and the second (8-11) at the New Victoria Theatre in London. All the tracks have been remastered, and among them are thrilling performances of "People", "Memory Lane", "Wotever It Is" and Jimi Hendrix's "Freedom". 12-page booklet inside. Highly recommended!
