Two albums released on one CD. Tabernakel contains nice, slightly jazzy and somewhat classical-leaning material recorded with, among others, former members of Vanilla Fudge. The album "Eli" is the result of a collaboration between two musicians: Jan Akkerman and Kaz Lux. Musically "Eli" (1976) combines progressive rock with elements of jazz, at times also brushing against soul. -

A revelation! Released in Argentina in 1974 by the small Promusica label, this truly excellent debut album by a progressive Argentinian band (worth 500 euros on vinyl in mint condition) featured the classically tinged sound of the Hammond organ and juicy, rather heavy parts for TWO guitars in the foreground. This is world-class playing (in the European manner) - a bit like Deep Purple mixed with Beggars Opera and Focus, and with early Wishbone Ash! At times it is hard to believe how good this music is! In my opinion it is one of the three best progressive albums from South America! A MUST! (JL) -

A six-disc set containing an anthology of the British hard rock band, led by the drummer Cozy Powell and the guitarist Dave Ball (later in Procol Harum). The first two CDs contain the band's only album, in a 2023 mix (+ two bonus tracks) and in the original. The next discs are a recording of a performance in London, on 22 October 1973 (with the addition of Powell's solo track "Dance With The Devil", recorded live on American television in 1974) and in Binghamton in New York State, in 1974. The fifth CD contains a performance by the band Big Bertha, that is the earlier incarnation of Bedlam (without the vocalist Frank Aiello), from 3 December 1970, from Hamburg. The last disc of the set contains demo tracks and singles from 1968-1970, on which all the band's instrumentalists played, that is Cozy Powell and the brothers Dave and Denny Ball. The whole thing in a rigid box, with a 28-page booklet inside. Highly recommended! (MU) -

The album, released in 1974, is a recording of a radio concert and presents a repertoire strongly rooted in the American tradition – clear inspirations from country, bluegrass and gospel can be heard. Betts moves away here from heavier Southern rock in favour of more melodic, relaxed playing resembling an informal jam session with very capable musicians. ONLY ONE COPY! New, sealed. -

Official live material, unreleased in its day (of rather average quality), from May 1974, containing a great performance by one of the best progressive groups from Italy. The LP begins with the excellent, seven-minute "Il Tempo Della Samina", that is, the title track of the group's second album, recorded in 1975 but not released until years later! The next five tracks are almost entirely the superbly played debut album. Very tastefully presented Italian gatefold LP with an insert as well. A must for all fans of old, progressive playing with Hammond, flute and heavyish guitar! Recommended! -

Released in a beautiful, gatefold, laminated sleeve (inside which is a nice, large photo of the band at the show), a single European vinyl, LIMITED TO 500 COPIES, very good-sounding (mixing desk) and very long (yet very well pressed) 62-minute (!!!) black vinyl, containing the legendary show recorded in April 1974, on the tour promoting the LP "Sabbath Bloody Sabbath", at a huge rock festival. What more is there to say... Ozzy was on great form, the band played very precisely and improvised a great deal at the same time - especially in the fantastic "Instrumental Jam" filling almost the whole of the second side of the record. In terms of sound quality it is in the top five BS concerts of the 70s and at the same time an excellent complement to the official album "Live At Last" (from 1973). The record sounds a further 10-15% better (more treble) than the YouTube material attached. A must! Condition: NEW, not shrink-wrapped.
