BYRDS, THE - BYRDS - Younger Than Yesterday +6 - Expanded Editionprice: 90,00 PLN / 22,50 EUR
A fantastic fourth album, containing, among others, "So You Wanna Be A Rock'n'Roll Star" (which Nazareth later used in their 'Telegram'); a wonderful cover of Bob Dylan's "My Back Pages" - one of the best musical moments I have heard - and the excellent "Why" - known, among others, from the Tomorrow version. A must! -

CHAMBERS BROTHERS - CHAMBERS BROTHERS - Time Has Come +4 - GER Repertoire Expanded Digipack Edition - LISTENprice: 70,00 PLN / 17,50 EUR
Chambers Brothers is an American band playing a combination of rock, soul, rhythm'n'blues and guitar psychedelia. Released in 1967 on a very popular, cult single (especially among American soldiers fighting in the Vietnam War), the title track appears on the album in a superb, eleven-minute version, ahead of its time. The album belongs to the strict canon of psychedelic rock. Reissue in a digipak, with four additional tracks. A must! -
CLEAR LIGHT (USA) (see also: Crosby, Stills & Nash) - CLEAR LIGHT - Clear Light +8 - UK Big Beat Expanded Edition - LISTENprice: 80,00 PLN / 20,00 EUR
A very good, indeed classic album once released by Elektra. Dynamic, psychedelic playing with an emphasis on guitar parts, the rhythm section (they played two drum kits) and charming, unforced melody - something like a slightly harder Love of the "Forever Changes" period. The vocalist Cliff De Young later became a well-known actor. A British edition with eight additional tracks. Highly recommended! -

CREATION (UK) (see also: Birds / Rolling Stones) - THE CREATION – We Are Paintermen / How Does It Feel To Feel (2CD) - UK Digipack Editionprice: 140,00 PLN / 35,00 EUR
Typical freakbeat - a transitional style between beat and psychedelia. One of the best bands of the 60s! The track Makin' Time, opening the box set Nuggets Vol. 2., is for me in the top ten of the best moments of the mid-60s. Supplemented with plenty of bonus tracks, the LP was originally released only in Sweden and Germany. Pete Townsend of The Who was a member of their fan club! And that was already after recording My Generation... -

DOC THOMAS GROUP (see also: Mott The Hoople / Bad Company) - DOC THOMAS GROUP - Italian Job (+ SILENCE - Shotgun Eyes) - UK Angel Air Edition - LISTENprice: 65,00 PLN / 16,25 EUR
The Doc Thomas Group was a band whose members were: the vocalist Stan Tippins, the guitarists Mick Ralphs and Dave Tedstone, the bassist Pete Watts and the drummer Bob Hall. Performing at an Italian club they received an offer of a record contract from the local label Interrecord and in October 1966 in Milan recorded an album titled "Doc Thomas Group". It was released in January 1967, but unfortunately only in Italy, and the band soon after changed its name to Shakedown Sound, and then to Silence. After they began working with Guy Stevens of Island Records, Tippins was forced to leave. He was replaced by Ian Hunter and the group changed its name to Mott The Hoople. On this CD the "Italian" album (renamed "Italian Job") is joined by fifteen Silence tracks recorded after the reunion, in October 1990. -
