ANIMALS - ANIMALS - Animalism - Original US MONO Mix +11 - SWE Flawed Gems Expanded - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 60,00 PLN / 15,00 EUR
Excellent-sounding, remastered edition of the last catalogue album (RELEASED ONLY IN THE STATES - not to be confused with the quite different British LP/CD "Animalisms") by the once very popular group from Newcastle. It was thoroughbred, bluesy playing with elements of very early psychedelia. Frank Zappa played on one track, and arranged two others! In addition eleven fantastic tracks (lasting a full 35 minutes!) recorded in the line-up known from the LP "Winds Of Change" - including five live and six from BBC radio (including "Connection" from the repertoire of The Rolling Stones) - all with excellent sound! If someone owns the old Italian CD from the label Oxford (in stereo) - they can safely reach for this edition, because not only does it sound much better, but it contains completely different bonus tracks. A MUST! -

On CD for the first time! The debut album, released in 1966, by the cult American formation in the original mono version! Typical American playing of the mid-sixties combining freakbeat and rhythm'n'blues with a pinch of ambitious pop. Very attractively presented edition containing the mono and stereo mix of the classic pop-psychedelic album. A very beautiful and elegant record containing, among others, the wonderful "God Only Knows" and several more gems... Alongside "Smiley Smile", released a year later, it is probably the best album in the sizeable output of this American formation. Very attractive, 28-page booklet. Highly recommended! -

BEATLES, THE - BEATLES - Live In Tokyo, 30 June - 1 July 1966 - FRA Verne MONO Limited Press - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 110,00 PLN / 27,50 EUR
A beautifully made, very good-sounding (FOR THE FIRST TIME at the CORRECT, FASTER SPEED!!!) black vinyl from Vernephone lasting 60 minutes, collecting, presented here in full, both (!) full performances by the band given in Tokyo on 30 June and 1 July 1966. The concerts were filmed by Japanese TV and thanks to this they are the only performances from the 1966 tour in very good sound quality! Generally the Tokyo performances did not enjoy any particular esteem among fans - mainly because they were played back from the television tape - too slowly! Now it is much better and they finally sound in the right keys! That is very important! So, now you can confidently take all the earlier editions of "Live In Tokyo/Japan 1966" off the shelf... The whole thing decorated with a superb, 60s-styled, laminated sleeve with a great photo. A MUST! Condition: NEW, unsealed. (JL) -
BEATLES, THE - BEATLES - Live On Television 1963-1966 (2LP) - FRA Verne MONO Limited Press - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 170,00 PLN / 42,50 EUR
This two-record album, lasting nearly 120 minutes, contains live recordings (usually in the studio) made for television programmes that have not been released on official records (including "Anthology" 1 and 2). Most of these tracks are Beatles classics, such as "Ed Sullivan Show", "Around The Beatles", "Blackpool Nights Out" or both appearances from the "NME Pollwinners Concerts" series, from 1964 and 1965. This great-sounding, 2-hour album gathers in one place all those 10-20 minute programmes that were ruthlessly released before on hastily prepared (as far as the sound is concerned) EPs or very short albums. The limited black vinyls, released in a stunning sleeve, contain 46 recordings in total - all in nearly perfect or very good sound quality! Not a single version COMES FROM CATALOGUE RECORDS, and now all these classic television programmes (partly known from the "Anthology" LP/CD) are available in full! As far as I know, all the tracks have been corrected for tape speed, carefully denoised and improved as far as possible compared with the versions circulating online. Excellent vinyl quality! AN ABSOLUTE MUST! Condition: MINT, NEW, unsealed. (JL) -

Beautiful condition! The beautiful, wrap-around, front-laminated, ORIGINAL British sleeve is like new: MINT(-) / Record: Almost perfect - played maybe 4-5 times - under strong light, very superficial hairline marks can be seen here and there: MINT- -

BUTTERFIELD BLUES BAND (see also: Mike Bloomfield) - The Paul Butterfield Blues Band - Live At Fillmore West – San Francisco 1966/70price: 80,00 PLN / 20,00 EUR
The album contains live recordings by the band from two different periods of its activity: San Francisco 1966 – early, raw electric blues inspired by Chicago blues, and New York 1970 – more extended, psychedelic and jazz-rock playing. It is a very interesting document showing the evolution of the group — from traditional electric blues to more experimental blues-rock of the late 60s. -
