ANNEXUS QUAM - ANNEXUS QUAM - Beziehungen - GER Ohr Remastered Edition - LISTENprice: 80,00 PLN / 20,00 EUR
Strongly psychedelic, almost avant-garde krautrock. Remastered 2023 reissue. -
ANNEXUS QUAM - ANNEXUS QUAM - Osmose - GER Ohr Remastered Edition - LISTENprice: 80,00 PLN / 20,00 EUR
The debut album by a German band echoing the work of Amon Duul II and early Pink Floyd - but more jazzy. The record was originally released by Ohr Records and in my opinion is much better and more rock (more accessible) than the avant-garde 'second'. Remastered 2023 reissue. Recommended! (JL) -
ARMAGGEDON (GER heavy prog) - ARMAGGEDON - Armaggedon - EU Once Again Limited Edition - VERY RARE - LISTENprice: 55,00 PLN / 13,75 EUR
This is a splendid German band which, for unknown reasons, has two "g"s instead of two "d"s in its name! So please do not confuse it with the British band with the album from 1975! The Germans' only record is a rather unique, heavy-progressive rock masterpiece based on the interplay of heavy, overdriven guitar, a powerful rhythm section, slightly Hendrix-like vocals and rather timid phrases on electric piano. The whole thing was inspired by recordings of Deep Purple, Spooky Tooth and Hendrix. In fact the band performed, among others, great versions of compositions by Spooky Tooth and the Jeff Beck Group. This record, released at the end of 1970, should satisfy most fans of early Grand Funk, Sir Lord Baltimore and the Australian Buffalo. After the break-up of Armaggedon guitarist Frank Diez played, among others, on the second Emergency album and on the debut of Atlantis. A must! Condition: New, sealed. (JL) -
ASH RA TEMPEL (see also: Tangerine Dream) - ASH RA TEMPEL - Schwingungen - GER MG+ART Remastered Edition - LISTENprice: 150,00 PLN / 37,50 EUR
The second album, from 1972, by the legendary German krautrock band - as successful as the debut! The first part contains sharp, Floyd-and-Hendrix-like, improvised playing; while the second is delicate, almost minimalist keyboard landscapes - that was the rule on the 1st, 2nd and 4th albums of the band. A German reissue made by the band's leader, released on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the record. -
ASH RA TEMPEL EXPERIENCE (see also: Tangerine Dream) - ASH RA TEMPEL EXPERIENCE - Live in Melbourne (2015) - MG.ART Edition - UNIKALNY CDprice: 90,00 PLN / 22,50 EUR
The album documents a live project (2015) by Manuel Göttsching (Ash Ra Tempel) reviving the Ash Ra Tempel repertoire in an expanded, international formula. The central role is played by Göttsching's guitar, building continuous, repeating sequences, around which the other instruments introduce successive elements: synthesiser backgrounds, bass parts and freer drum entries. ONLY ONE COPY! New, sealed. -
ASTERIX (see also: Uriah Heep / Lucifer's Friend) - ASTERIX - Asterix +2 - GER Expanded Edition - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 60,00 PLN / 15,00 EUR
A great, hard-rock classic (once released by Decca) recorded by musicians who a little earlier (also in 1970) played under the banner of Electric Food, and a few months later (already with vocalist John Lawton - later in Uriah Heep) changed their name to Lucifer's Friend. Heavy, guitar riffs; a solid rhythm section, occasional keyboards - the whole thing sounds like a high-octane version of the Uriah Heep debut with a touch of Deep Purple. Every fan of the first two LF albums will adore this album! Additionally two tracks from a rare single. Highly recommended! (JL) -

A sensational, hard rock classic (once released by Decca) recorded by musicians who a little earlier (also in 1970) had played under the name Electric Food, and a few months later (now with vocalist John Lawton - later in Uriah Heep) changed their name to Lucifer's Friend. Heavy guitar riffs, a solid rhythm section, occasional keyboards - the whole thing sounds like a high-octane version of the Uriah Heep debut with a touch of Deep Purple. Every fan of the first two LF albums will adore this album! Limited, German reissue. Condition: NEW - sealed. -

ATLANTIS (see also: Frumpy / Emergency) - ATLANTIS - Atlantis - GER Edition - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 60,00 PLN / 15,00 EUR
A German band formed after the break-up of Frumpy. You could safely say that this is actually that band's fifth record, since its core (three musicians - including vocalist Inga Rumpf) remained the same. Plenty of Hammond, decent compositions, a few elements of soul. A nice, though rather uneven record. A replica of the original CD from Repertoire Records. -

BIRTH CONTROL - BIRTH CONTROL - Operation - GER Press - LISTENprice: 150,00 PLN / 37,50 EUR
A German reissue by Ohr in a gatefold sleeve of the exquisite second album by a very popular German band. This is probably the best and most progressive item in the band's otherwise consistent and recommendable discography! Several extended tracks of 8-10 minutes (recalling the work of heavy Pink Floyd, Deep Purple, Atomic Rooster and ELP) - so typical of top-shelf German playing! At the time Operation was released by the legendary German label Ohr and as an original (with a five-digit catalogue number) it is worth over 300 euros; so this very tasteful reissue is quite a good alternative for vinyl collectors. A must! Condition: NEW, sealed. -
BIRTH CONTROL - BIRTH CONTROL - Plastic People - GER Repertoire Remastered Editionprice: 65,00 PLN / 16,25 EUR
The last classic album in the discography, although I preferred the sound of the organ to the synthesizers that dominate here. (JL) -
BIRTH CONTROL - BIRTH CONTROL - Hoodoo Man +5 - GER Repertoire Remastered Expanded Digipack Edition - LISTENprice: 70,00 PLN / 17,50 EUR
A remastered German edition in a digipak, also containing studio and live extras. Classic German hard-rock with organ - close to the work of Deep Purple of the time. Highly recommended! (JL) -
BIRTH CONTROL - BIRTH CONTROL - Hoodoo Man - EU Music On Vinyl 180g Pressprice: 150,00 PLN / 37,50 EUR

BIRTH CONTROL - BIRTH CONTROL - Live - GER Repertoire Digipack Edition - LISTENprice: 70,00 PLN / 17,50 EUR
Very nice, improvised playing based on the interplay of almost hard-rock guitars and all kinds of keyboards (mainly Hammond). A summary of the best period in the band's career. A double LP on a single CD, in a digipak. (JL) -
BIRTH CONTROL - BIRTH CONTROL - Operation - GER Ohr Remastered 180g Pressprice: 155,00 PLN / 38,75 EUR
An exquisite second album by a very popular German band. A 2022 remastered reissue, in a gatefold sleeve. A must! (JL) -
BIRTH CONTROL - BIRTH CONTROL – Two Eggs – Two Concerts (2CD) - MIG Remastered Editionprice: 110,00 PLN / 27,50 EUR
Two concerts on two CDs: Stadthalle Korbach – 1 May 1977 and Fabrik Hamburg – 24 March 1983, six years apart, which makes it possible to see the evolution of the band's sound - from the long, improvised forms of 1977 to the more compact compositions of 1983. We get a cross-sectional picture of one of the more important German rock bands of the 70s and early 80s. -
BLACKWATER PARK (see also: Murphy Blend) - BLACKWATER PARK - Dirt Box - EU Once Again Limited Edition - VERY RARE - LISTENprice: 55,00 PLN / 13,75 EUR
A new, remastered, European edition of the only, but splendid, album by a Berlin band. Made in March 1972, 'Dirt Box' belongs to the best, and at the same time most underrated, releases of German (very) heavy rock of the early 70s. Although the band, with a British vocalist, was active in Germany, its music has little in common with typical krautrock. The group offered a dynamic combination of early heavy rock, progressive rock and a pinch of blues - with overwhelming influences of British bands such as Deep Purple, Atomic Rooster or Uriah Heep. Over time the album rose to the status of a classic of the European underground. The original BASF release is today among the most sought-after German hard rock records of the early 70s, reaching a price of 600 euros! Additional fame came to the record from the fact that the very popular, influential and generally old-music-promoting Mikael Akerfeldt (leader of the metal band Opeth) named his band's album made in 2001 'Blackwater Park' after it! AN ABSOLUTE MUST! Condition: New, sealed. (JL)
