ASTERIX - Asterix +2 - GER Expanded Edition - LISTEN - VERY RARE

A great, hard-rock classic (once released by Decca) recorded by musicians who a little earlier (also in 1970) played under the banner of Electric Food, and a few months later (already with vocalist John Lawton - later in Uriah Heep) changed their name to Lucifer's Friend. Heavy, guitar riffs; a solid rhythm section, occasional keyboards - the whole thing sounds like a high-octane version of the Uriah Heep debut with a touch of Deep Purple. Every fan of the first two LF albums will adore this album! Additionally two tracks from a rare single. Highly recommended! (JL)
