EMERSON LAKE & PALMER - EMERSON LAKE & PALMER - Live In Brussels 1971 - SPA Top Gear Limited Edition - VERY RAREprice: 60,00 PLN / 15,00 EUR
Limited to 500 copies, a tastefully released CD containing an excellently recorded, nearly hour-long concert from March 1971, not previously released on record, professionally recorded in Brussels, four months after the release of the brilliant debut album. The band presented the whole first side in slightly extended versions, plus a 17-minute version of The Nice's classic "Rondo" and "Nutcracker" combined with bluesy rock and roll. The sound quality is excellent and it is a fantastic complement to the classic album "Pictures At An Exhibition", recorded four weeks later! Together these two albums present the band's full live repertoire of that period! In addition, a very rare and really good-sounding, 26-minute live version of the suite "Tarkus" is included, recorded at the legendary Californian venue the Hollywood Bowl in July 1971! A must! END (see also: Tucky Buzzard) - END - From Beginning To End... (4LP) - UK Demon Remastered 180g Press - LISTENprice: 430,00 PLN / 107,50 EUR
A four-record, British box set from Demon containing the catalogue album and three records with material previously published only on rare, expensive vinyl from the Tenth Planet label, from 1965-1969. Recorded in spring/summer 1968, but released only at the end of 1969, the LP "Introspection" (produced by Bill Wyman of the Rolling Stones) is one of the most important achievements of British psychedelia. The album belongs in the same league as records kept in a similar vein, such as The Zombies' "Odessey And Oracle", Small Faces' "Ogden's Nut Gone Flake", The Who's "Sell Out", or the sole album by the band Tomorrow. Afterwards the band transformed into Tucky Buzzard and recorded at least three great (and two weaker) albums! A must! (JL) -

A wonderful record! One of the most important achievements of British psychedelia. The album was made in the spring of 1968 and belongs to the same league as the similarly moody records by The Zombies ("Odessey And Oracle") and Tomorrow. Afterwards the band transformed into Tucky Buzzard. A must! Two bonus tracks in the form of mono single versions. A Japanese, limited edition from the Decca label, from 2021. (JL) -

ENGLAND (UK prog) - ENGLAND - Garden Shed +2 - EU Expanded Edition - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 60,00 PLN / 15,00 EUR
Released in 1977, the only album by this British progressive band, in the vein of the recordings of Yes, Refugee and Druid. Two tracks last 16 and 14 minutes, and that is not all! It is certainly one of the best records of this kind from the second half of the 70s! Recommended! A 2008 reissue, in a digipak. (JL) -

ENID - ENID - Aerie Fairie Nonsense - UK EMI/Honeybee 1977 1st Press - EXCELLENT PLUS VINTAGE VINYLprice: 250,00 PLN / 62,50 EUR
ANALOGUE SOUND! The first British edition (from 1977) of the second album by this very underrated art rock band. As on the excellent debut, we have here entirely instrumental and strongly classical-leaning material, referencing somewhat the style of Genesis, Camel and ELP (full of changes of rhythm and mood - recalling a little "Karn Evil 9", "Childe Roland"). Sleeve: EXCELLENT+ / Record: EXCELLENT+ -
CD
ESPERANTO - ESPERANTO - Danse Macabre / Last Tango - Digipack Edition - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 60,00 PLN / 15,00 EUR
The second and third albums on a single CD. Esperanto is a very nice (almost) British band, performing a very eclectic, generally progressive variety of rock with dominant, somewhat manic violin parts backed by a rich keyboard sound. The much better 'second' (that is, Danse Macabre) is in the vein of recordings by King Crimson, ELP and P.F.M. The third album is very good only in half, but as a whole I decidedly recommend it! -

EVERYONE (see also: Junco Partners / Andy Roberts) - EVERYONE - Everyone - SWE Flawed Gems Edition - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 60,00 PLN / 15,00 EUR
On CD for the first time! Released in January 1971, the only album by a British, folk-prog-rock group led by Andy Roberts (Liverpool Scene and the great 1971 solo LP "Home Grown" - recorded with Mighty Baby...) and organist Bob Sargeant (ex-Junco Partners - later co-leader of the Mick Abrahams Band). The record was filled with very charming and fascinating material close to the style of Hard Meat, Forever More, and even Atomic Rooster - with a touch of CS&N. Frankly, it is the heavier/more progressive half of the album that is downright sensational (typical of 1970-71, stylistically varied British prog with organ or mellotron), though the more folky second part can also enchant (with the exception of one track in a country rock style)... The cherry on the cake is the two additional and decidedly rock tracks (Hammond again!) from the BBC archives! A great album that will delight everyone who believes the above text. Highly recommended! -

EYES OF BLUE (see also: Big Sleep / Ancient Grease) - EYES OF BLUE - In Fields Of Ardath +2 - SPA Wah Wah Extended Limited Press - LISTENprice: 160,00 PLN / 40,00 EUR
The second album by the Britons brought them slightly closer to the progressive current - especially in two tracks lasting 9 and 7 minutes respectively. In 1970 the musicians changed their name to Big Sleep. -
CD
EYES OF BLUE (see also: Big Sleep / Ancient Grease) - EYES OF BLUE - Crossroads Of Time +3 - SWE Flawed Gems Remastered Expanded - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 60,00 PLN / 15,00 EUR
At last as a single CD and with excellent sound! Eyes Of Blue were protégés of Graham Bond (who lent them two tracks for the debut) and at the same time a cult, though still heavily underrated, British band rooted in the style of the late 60s, combining elements of late psychedelia and early prog rock (including references to classical music) - something in the style of a more 'grubby' Procol Harum of the first two albums. Hammonds, mellotron, overdriven guitars and the great vocal of Gary Pickford-Hopkins - later known from Wild Turkey. This is a real treat for lovers of playing in the vein of Crazy World Of Arthur Brown, Velvett Fogg, Pesky Gee, the Man debut, the 'second' by Plastic Penny, and so on. In addition three tracks from earlier, rhythm'n'blues singles in the style of The Artwoods and The Action are included. A MUST! (JL) -
CD
EYES OF BLUE (see also: Big Sleep / Ancient Grease) - EYES OF BLUE - In Fields Of Ardath +2 - SWE Flawed Gems Remastered Expanded - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 60,00 PLN / 15,00 EUR
The first time on CD in its full version, together with the excellent track "Apache 69" (which closes the vinyl version - for some reason never released on CD until now) - taken from The Shadows' repertoire! The Britons' second album brought them somewhat closer to the progressive stream - especially in two tracks lasting 9 and 7 minutes respectively. In 1970 the musicians changed their name to Big Sleep and under that banner, in 1970, recorded a single released only in Spain with a new version of "Largo" (an adaptation of Handel's piece from the debut), and that very version has been added to this edition! In addition, the CD has been expanded with the B-side of the American single, featuring the excellent track "Q III". In 1970 the Big Sleep musicians took part in the recording of an album by Ancient Grease, and in 1971 the great, though demanding several listens, LP "Bluebell Wood" saw the light of day. After the split the individual musicians went on to join, among others, Wild Turkey, Gentle Giant and Man. A MUST! -

EYES, THE - EYES - My Degeneration - SPA Guerssen Remastered Press - LISTENprice: 145,00 PLN / 36,25 EUR
The Eyes were a group founded in London in 1964, whose music combined the rawness of freakbeat with the then emerging psychedelic sound. There were both aggressive, fuzzy guitar riffs and catchy melodies. The band released only a few singles, in 1965-1966. It broke up in 1967 and did not manage to release a single album. This one appears only now, in a remastered version.
