EMERSON LAKE & PALMER - Live In Brussels 1971 - SPA Top Gear Limited Edition - VERY RARE

Limited to 500 copies, a tastefully released CD containing an excellently recorded, nearly hour-long concert from March 1971, not previously released on record, professionally recorded in Brussels, four months after the release of the brilliant debut album. The band presented the whole first side in slightly extended versions, plus a 17-minute version of The Nice's classic "Rondo" and "Nutcracker" combined with bluesy rock and roll. The sound quality is excellent and it is a fantastic complement to the classic album "Pictures At An Exhibition", recorded four weeks later! Together these two albums present the band's full live repertoire of that period! In addition, a very rare and really good-sounding, 26-minute live version of the suite "Tarkus" is included, recorded at the legendary Californian venue the Hollywood Bowl in July 1971! A must! (JL)
