HEAVY LOAD - HEAVY LOAD - Full Speed At High Level - EU Press - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 110,00 PLN / 27,50 EUR
A limited, almost faithful replica (in a gatefold sleeve instead of a single one - with lyrics and enlarged photos inside) of the Swedish original, worth 350 euros, of the sensational debut by a Swedish heavy rock band known mainly from the somewhat later and quite popular (and in metal circles cult) albums "Death Or Glory" (1982) and "Stronger Than Evil" (1984). The debut, recorded in 1978, was until recently known to rather few listeners, since it was released by the band in a run of only 1000 copies on its own label and it is hardly surprising that in collecting circles it was and is regarded as the Holy Grail of pre-metal heavy rock - for musical reasons and also purely collecting ones! It is without doubt one of the heaviest and sharpest records of the 70s - inspired by the work of Black Sabbath, early Judas Priest, and also the Swedish Neon Rose; close to the work of somewhat later bands from the NWOBHM circle, but at the same time not free of clear progressive influences from the early 70s (Wishbone Ash). NOTE! The sound is slightly better, more souped-up than on an average-pressed original! It is an absolute MUST for every fan of heavy sounds! -

ANALOGUE SOUND! An ultra-rare, first Swedish edition (from October 1973, on the Silence label) of the excellent, second album by the Swedish folk-progressive band, led by Mats Glenngard. I draw attention to the 17-minute suite! Almost perfect condition! The sleeve is ideal, but with a trace of a signature on the back: EXCELLENT+ / The record probably unplayed: MINT(-) -
KVARTETTEN SOM SPRANGDE - KVARTETTEN SOM SPRANGDE - Kattvals - EU Eclipse Edition - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 60,00 PLN / 15,00 EUR
How I adore this album! Released in 1973 by a small Swedish label, the album contained genuinely exquisite organ-and-guitar INSTRUMENTAL progressive rock, played with passion yet in a relaxed way, reminiscent of a synthesis of Procol Harum, Atomic Rooster and the more subdued ELP, with a pinch of rock Santana from the period of the earliest records. The third track on the record is one of the best progressive numbers I have heard in my life! Fans of Scandinavian rock will certainly be pleased by the comparisons with Flasket Brinner, Kebnekeise and very early Bo Hansson. Note! The drummer Rune Carlsson played in Krzysztof Komeda's band in 1962! Very good sound and excellent production! An absolute must! -

MECKI MARK MEN - MECKI MARK MEN - Mecki Mark Men +2 - FRA Absinthe Expanded Limited Press - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 110,00 PLN / 27,50 EUR
An edition limited to 500 copies of the cult debut album, released at the end of 1967, by the legendary Swedish psychedelic band modelled on the early Jimi Hendrix Experience (especially the vocal) and The Doors - with a pinch of The Mothers Of Invention. It is top-shelf dark, psychedelic rock (with distant echoes of rhythm'n'blues) - surprisingly up to date at the time, and even ahead of American or British trends by a few months. In addition, two recordings from a very rare single. Excellent sound and great pressing. The laminated sleeve looks like the Swedish original. Highly recommended! New, sealed. (JL) -
MECKI MARK MEN - MECKI MARK MEN - Marathon +6 - FRA Lumpy Gravy Remastered Expanded Edition - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 60,00 PLN / 15,00 EUR
The Swedes' third album was recorded in 1970, but not released until 1971, on Sonet Records. The album is fairly varied, though on most tracks the band continues along the route set out on the second album - still very psychedelic, with its head in space, but at moments much heavier than before. In addition two great, improvised tracks from a concert and the second part of the Swedish mix of the second album. Highly recommended! (JL) -
MECKI MARK MEN - MECKI MARK MEN - Running In The Summer Night +5 - FRA Lumpy Gravy Remastered Expanded Edition - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 60,00 PLN / 15,00 EUR
Please do not be put off by the rustic cover! This album, recorded in Stockholm in 1969 and released only in the States in 1970, is heavy, strongly narcotic (but without clowning), psychedelic, at moments progressive rock from Sweden - of a very high shelf! This time the leader, playing Hammonds and singing in the manner of Hendrix, took on three former musicians of the excellent, psychedelic group Baby Grandmothers and the result was a genuinely great album - harking back to the style of Pink Floyd, Iron Butterfly, Hendrix, The Doors, Cream and very early Soft Machine. The record contains, among others, two longer, 8-10 minute mini-suites. For the first time on CD the American mix, released only on vinyl in 1970, is used. The previous CD edition (in a digipak) contained the unreleased Swedish mix and just two tracks from the USA. Now the Swedish mix has been split in half between the second and third albums. A must! MECKI MARK MEN - MECKI MARK MEN - Mecki Mark Men +4 - FRA Lumpy Gravy Remastered Expanded Edition - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 60,00 PLN / 15,00 EUR
Released at the end of 1967, the cult debut album by the legendary Swedish psychedelic formation, modelled on the early Jimi Hendrix Experience (especially the vocal) and The Doors - with a pinch of The Mothers Of Invention. It is dark, psychedelic rock (with distant echoes of rhythm'n'blues) of the top shelf - surprisingly up to date at the time, and even ahead of American or British trends by several months. All three Mecki Mark Men albums are excellent, though they require a few listens! A must! (JL) -

NEON ROSE - NEON ROSE - Dream Of Glory And Pride +6 - EU Eclipse Expanded Edition - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 60,00 PLN / 15,00 EUR
Released in 1974 by Vertigo, the sensational debut album by a Swedish hard rock band with progressive inclinations (especially in the 10-minute title track), referring to the style of Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple and Wishbone Ash. Plenty of nice, juicy guitar riffing here and numerous changes of tempo and mood. In addition, six very good bonus tracks from singles, a recording session and a concert. A must! (JL) -
NOVEMBER (see also: Saga) - NOVEMBER - 6:e +3 - EU Once Again Expanded Limited Edition - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 55,00 PLN / 13,75 EUR
A new, limited and greatly expanded edition of the third and at the same time last album, originally released in 1972, by the Swedes playing heavy, progressive rock. Note! The title of the LP did not mean the 'sixth' album but referred to the date of 6 November 1632 - the day of the death of King Gustavus Adolphus II in the Battle of Lützen - which is, incidentally, immortalised on the beautiful sleeve... Musically it is probably the most varied record by the band, which on the one hand presented some of its heaviest guitar riffs and aggressive sounds, but at the same time did not shy away from gentler passages. Either way - great, classic playing from the early 70s! Additionally 3 greatly extended live tracks from 1971 are included, lasting as much as 26 minutes together and released years later on 'November Live'! A MUST! Condition: New, sealed. (JL) -
NOVEMBER (see also: Saga) - NOVEMBER - 2:a +6 - EU Once Again Expanded Limited Edition - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 55,00 PLN / 13,75 EUR
A new, limited, greatly expanded and great-sounding edition of the second album originally released by Swedish Sonet in 1971. For many fans it is the band's peak achievement and one of the most important albums of Scandinavian hard rock of the early 70s. On 'the second one' the band again offered intense, heavy blues-rock with progressive elements and at the same time developed the ideas from the debut. As a result the sound became heavier, more compact and even more guitar-driven. The record contains plenty of extended, expressive solos, and the rhythm section played like a classic, early British power trio. Additionally as much as 27 minutes (6 recordings) of bonus material are included: 2 recordings from rare singles and 4 great-sounding live pieces from 1971, released years later on the CD/LP 'November Live'! Again the Once Again label faithfully reproduced the artwork from the original, gatefold LP - simply absent from the old '2LP on 1CD' edition. A MUST! Condition: New, sealed. (JL) -
NOVEMBER (see also: Saga) - NOVEMBER - En Ny Tid Ar Har +8 - EU Once Again Expanded Limited Edition - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 55,00 PLN / 13,75 EUR
A new, limited and great-sounding edition of the splendid debut album, originally released by Sonet in 1970, by a Swedish band playing heavy, guitar-driven rock inspired by Cream, Free and Jethro Tull with distinct progressive influences (including occasional flute parts). The record retained a raw character; individual tracks give the impression of having been recorded almost 'live', without excessive studio embellishments. The whole thing was sung in a natural, accessible way in Swedish and sounds very fresh. Great and at the same time very catchy playing! Additionally as much as 33 minutes (8 recordings) of extra material are included: 3 recordings from rare singles, 1 track from the recording session and 4 live pieces from 1970 released years later on the CD/LP 'November Live'! As usual the Once Again label reproduced the artwork from the original LP almost faithfully and also added reproductions of several of the band's early singles. A MUST! Condition: New, sealed. (JL) -

A new, European reissue in a beautiful gatefold sleeve, enriched with two previously unreleased tracks. A must! Condition: MINT (NEW , unsealed). (JL) -
