MECKI MARK MEN - Mecki Mark Men +4 - FRA Lumpy Gravy Remastered Expanded Edition - LISTEN - VERY RARE

Released at the end of 1967, the cult debut album by the legendary Swedish psychedelic formation, modelled on the early Jimi Hendrix Experience (especially the vocal) and The Doors - with a pinch of The Mothers Of Invention. It is dark, psychedelic rock (with distant echoes of rhythm'n'blues) of the top shelf - surprisingly up to date at the time, and even ahead of American or British trends by several months. All three Mecki Mark Men albums are excellent, though they require a few listens! A must! (JL)
