TARANTULA (SPA prog) - TARANTULA - Tarantula 1 - EU Walhalla Remastered Edition - VERY RARE - LISTENprice: 60,00 PLN / 15,00 EUR
Debut album, released in 1976, by a Spanish progressive formation. It is dominated by art-rock, symphonic, keyboard (mainly mellotron) moods in the style of Refugee, Yes, Le Orme and P.F.M. enriched with nice electric guitar parts (at moments quite heavy) and a strong vocal. Classic, art-rock playing at a high level. -
TARANTULA (SPA prog) - TARANTULA - Tarantula 2 - EU Walhalla Remastered Edition - VERY RARE - LISTENprice: 60,00 PLN / 15,00 EUR
Second album by a Spanish progressive formation. On this record, released in 1977, the dominant role (unlike on the debut released a year earlier) was taken over by riff-based, almost hard rock guitar parts enriched with atmospheric, art-rock interludes of mellotron, Moog and Hammond organ. At times the band sounds as if it were recording at least 5 years earlier... There were few such records in the second half of the seventies. Recommended. (K) -

TRIANA - TRIANA - Hijos del Agobio - SPA Warner Edition - LISTENprice: 60,00 PLN / 15,00 EUR
Second album by a Spanish group performing music that is a combination of elements of Andalusian flamenco music with progressive and psychedelic rock. "Hijos del Agobio" achieved greater commercial success than the debut and stood out for its politically engaged lyrics, which reflected the tense and unstable nature of the political climate in Spain at the time. -

ZARPA ROCK - ZARPA ROCK - Los 4 Jinetes del Apocalipsis - SPA Sommor Remastered Press - LISTENprice: 140,00 PLN / 35,00 EUR
Released in 1978 in a few hundred copies (mega rare and mega expensive on vinyl), the debut of a Spanish heavy rock band playing (like Rockcelona, though more intensely) ultra-heavy, pre-metal, Sabbath-like rock with slightly progressive influences (only five long tracks). Soon after the record's release the band shortened its name to Zarpa and recorded several albums, but I stick to the original name. Every fan of heavy playing should own this superb album! Remastered 2021 edition from the Sommor label. Highly recommended!!! -
