TARANTULA - Tarantula 2 - EU Walhalla Remastered Edition - LISTEN - VERY RARE

Second album by a Spanish progressive formation. On this record, released in 1977, the dominant role (unlike on the debut released a year earlier) was taken over by riff-based, almost hard rock guitar parts enriched with atmospheric, art-rock interludes of mellotron, Moog and Hammond organ. At times the band sounds as if it were recording at least 5 years earlier... There were few such records in the second half of the seventies. Recommended. (K)
