SAMADHI (see also: L'Uovo Di Colombo) - SAMADHI - Samadhi - ITA Card Sleeve Editionprice: 75,00 PLN / 18,75 EUR
Another group from Italy, founded by former musicians of Raccomandata Ricevuta Ritorno, Teoremi and L'Uovo Di Colombo. The material is quite varied - progressive rock with elements of jazz and ballads. A very well produced album with a full sound. Recommended. (JL) -
SEMIRAMIS - SEMIRAMIS - Dedicato A Frazz - ITA GREEN VINYL Limited Pressprice: 140,00 PLN / 35,00 EUR
An excellent and unfortunately only album by an Italian band resembling Premiata Forneria Marconi (P.F.M.) of the period of the first two LPs, as well as Biglietto Per L'Inferno - with dominant, formally expansive compositions, with plenty of instrumental parts (with the addition of a keyboard backdrop) and kept in a slightly fairy-tale (or baroque) mood. Absolutely top-tier Italian progressive rock! A limited 2019 reissue, in a gatefold sleeve, on green vinyl. -
SHOWMEN 2 (see also: Napoli Centrale) - SHOWMEN 2 - Showmen 2 - EU Edition - VERY RARE - LISTENprice: 60,00 PLN / 15,00 EUR
The sole album by a band from Naples formed after the break-up of Showmen, playing progressive rock with strong jazz influences. In the absence of interest the band broke up, and on its ruins the jazz-rock Napoli Centrale was formed. -
STELLE DI MARIO SCHIFANO - STELLE DI MARIO SCHIFANO - Dedicato A... - ITA PURPLE VINYL Limited 180g Press - LISTENprice: 160,00 PLN / 40,00 EUR
Released in 1967 and today having cult status, the only album by an ephemeral Italian band. Musically it is a very interesting record that was meant to be the Italian answer to the Velvet Underground. The result is a genuinely convincing, very 'atmospheric', though at times rather difficult to take in, album combining psychedelic rock with elements of the avant-garde, folk and jazz. Highly recommended! An Italian reissue limited to 500 copies in a gatefold sleeve, on coloured vinyl. -
STELLE DI MARIO SCHIFANO - STELLE DI MARIO SCHIFANO - Dedicato A... - ITA Card Sleeve Edition - LISTENprice: 80,00 PLN / 20,00 EUR
Released in 1967 and today having cult status, the only album by an ephemeral, Italian band. Musically it is a very interesting record that was meant to be the Italian answer to the Velvet Underground. The result is a genuinely convincing, very 'atmospheric', though at times rather difficult to take in, album combining psychedelic rock with elements of the avant-garde, folk and jazz. A 2017 reissue, in a gatefold sleeve. Highly recommended! -
STORMY SIX - STORMY SIX - Un Biglietto Del Tram - ITA Card Sleeve Edition - LISTENprice: 100,00 PLN / 25,00 EUR

TRIP - TRIP - The Trip +3 - FRA Absinthe Limited Press - VERY RARE - LISTENprice: 110,00 PLN / 27,50 EUR
Released in 1970, the superb debut album by an excellent progressive band from Italy (two Italians and two Englishmen) - now enriched with three bonus tracks (the great, premiere single "Fantasia" from 1970 and "Bolero Blues" taken from a rare vinyl compilation from 1969) added at the end of each side. English, very nice vocals, plenty of overdriven Hammond organ (including on the somewhat... overlong introduction to the album), dynamic, slightly bluesy guitar parts and a still palpable, strongly psychedelic mood of the late 60s. In 1967 Ritchie Blackmore played in this band for a while... but he returned to the British Isles and immediately founded Deep Purple. His two mates, meanwhile, stayed in Italy! A beautiful, laminated sleeve and excellent pressing! A must! -

TRIP - TRIP - The Trip +8 - EU Eclipse Remastered Expanded - VERY RARE - LISTENprice: 60,00 PLN / 15,00 EUR

TRIP - TRIP - Time Of Change (LP+CD) - ITA BLUE VINYL Press - LISTENprice: 160,00 PLN / 40,00 EUR
The band's fourth studio album. The lyrics refer to mythology, and the music shows even more influence of classical music and jazz. 2017 Italian edition, on blue vinyl, with an additional CD. -
UNDERGROUND SET (see also: Nuova Idea) - UNDERGROUND SET - Underground Set +4 - SWE Flawed Gems Remastered Expanded - VERY RARE - LISTENprice: 60,00 PLN / 15,00 EUR
On CD for the first time outside South Korea! Remastered edition of the excellent, cult psychedelic album recorded under an assumed name by musicians of the Italian progressive formation Nuova Idea! The material was made long before their excellent debut "In The Beginning" (1971). "Underground Set" contained instrumental, mostly short tracks based on the rich sound of Hammond organ, overdriven guitar and a juicy rhythm section - close to the Italian Blue Phantom, and to some extent also the German Bokaj Retsiem and Hell Preachers Inc. or the British Ugly Custard. Pieces that you can sometimes hear and see (in gentler versions) in old European films from the late 60s - today much sought after and prized by vinyl collectors! I admit that I really like this album (once released also in Germany, France and Great Britain) - even despite two or three weaker (too easy) passages! In addition four superb tracks from three rare Italian singles are included! The front of the CD bears the cover borrowed from the British vinyl, while the Italian design came in yellow-and-black colours. Highly recommended! -

ALIENATURA - ALIENATURA - Il Tempio delle Clessidre - Black Widow Records - UNIKALNY CD
"Il Tempio delle Clessidre" is an album firmly in the tradition of Italian progressive rock, strongly referencing the classic aesthetic of the 70s and clearly inspired by the work of bands such as Le Orme and Banco del Mutuo Soccorso. AlieNatura builds its sound on rich keyboard arrangements, expressive guitar parts and emotional vocals in Italian. The compositions have an extended, suite-like form, and melodiousness and a theatrical style of performance, typical of the Rock Progressivo Italiano movement, are also characteristic. Keyboard instruments (organ, mellotron, synthesisers) play the leading role, creating a symphonic backdrop for the developing themes. Only one copy! New, sealed. -
GARYBALDI (see also: Gleemen) - GARYBALDI - Note Perdute - Unreleased Tracks 1969-1998 - ITA 1st Press
A beautifully produced compilation featuring 7 previously unreleased recordings by this excellent Italian band. 3 recordings, totalling 15 minutes, date from 1998, while the remaining half hour is filled by four unknown compositions from 1969-73, and for those alone this LP is worth buying! The first track on the record, "Il Volto Stanco Della Gente", was recorded back when the band were still called Gleemen! A beautiful, triple-fold and very psychedelic sleeve. Recommended! -
