TRIP - The Trip +3 - FRA Absinthe Limited Press - LISTEN - VERY RARE

Released in 1970, the superb debut album by an excellent progressive band from Italy (two Italians and two Englishmen) - now enriched with three bonus tracks (the great, premiere single "Fantasia" from 1970 and "Bolero Blues" taken from a rare vinyl compilation from 1969) added at the end of each side. English, very nice vocals, plenty of overdriven Hammond organ (including on the somewhat... overlong introduction to the album), dynamic, slightly bluesy guitar parts and a still palpable, strongly psychedelic mood of the late 60s. In 1967 Ritchie Blackmore played in this band for a while... but he returned to the British Isles and immediately founded Deep Purple. His two mates, meanwhile, stayed in Italy! A beautiful, laminated sleeve and excellent pressing! A must!
