CIRCUS 2000 - CIRCUS 2000 - I Am The Witch - Anthology (2CD) - UK Grapefruit Digipack Edition - LISTENprice: 90,00 PLN / 22,50 EUR
The first anthology by an Italian band with a female vocalist in the style of Earth & Fire. The band now has cult status, but during its existence it had difficulty finding an audience, which may have stemmed from the English lyrics, and also from the fact that the Italian scene was dominated by keyboard-based music, while the basis of Circus 2000's work was the guitar. The set contains both albums, "Circus 2000" from 1970 and "An Escape From A Box" from 1972, as well as nine single tracks and two previously unreleased compositions that were to appear on the third album. The whole thing comes in a gatefold digipak, with an attractive booklet with many rare photos. Highly recommended! (MU) -

The first album by the cult Italian band. A very nice album, perhaps not as rock and progressive as the 'second one', simply different - more catchy, at moments balladic, and largely psychedelic (a little in the style of dreamy Jefferson Airplane). A limited 2018 edition, on green vinyl. -

FORMULA 3 - FORMULA 3 - Dies Irae +1 - SWE Flawed Gems Remastered Expanded Edition - VERY RAREprice: 60,00 PLN / 15,00 EUR
Remastered, expanded with one track and decidedly better-sounding Swedish edition of the excellent debut album by a once popular Italian progressive formation - here inspired by heavy psychedelic rock in the vein of Hendrix, early Deep Purple and Procol Harum. This album, released in February 1970, was probably the first truly rock title released by an Italian band! The opening, full of changing moods, "Dies Irae" is an absolute psychedelic masterpiece - a mega-intense combination of heavy guitars, roaring Hammond organs, stirring choirs and rhythm section. One of the best moments in the history of early prog rock! The rest of the record is also excellent - with dominant Hendrix/Purple rock playing and two short, somewhat more pop passages. A MUST!
