TARANTULA (SPA prog) - TARANTULA - Tarantula 1 - EU Walhalla Remastered Edition - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 60,00 PLN / 15,00 EUR
Debut album, released in 1976, by a Spanish progressive formation. It is dominated by art-rock, symphonic, keyboard (mainly mellotron) moods in the style of Refugee, Yes, Le Orme and P.F.M. enriched with nice electric guitar parts (at moments quite heavy) and a strong vocal. Classic, art-rock playing at a high level. -
TARANTULA (SPA prog) - TARANTULA - Tarantula 2 - EU Walhalla Remastered Edition - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 60,00 PLN / 15,00 EUR
Second album by a Spanish progressive formation. On this record, released in 1977, the dominant role (unlike on the debut released a year earlier) was taken over by riff-based, almost hard rock guitar parts enriched with atmospheric, art-rock interludes of mellotron, Moog and Hammond organ. At times the band sounds as if it were recording at least 5 years earlier... There were few such records in the second half of the seventies. Recommended. (K)
