PINK FLOYD - BBC Sessions (May 1967-December 1968) - SPA Top Gear Edition - LISTEN - VERY RARE

This limited, fan-club CD (released in a run of 500 copies) contains all the existing/surviving recordings made for BBC radio and TV between spring 1967 and autumn 1968. The first fourteen tracks are the line-up with Syd Barrett, while in the remaining fourteen David Gilmour already appears. Please note that several pieces never appeared on catalogue records, though in a few cases only the titles were changed... The quality is very good or ideal - certainly better than on old bootleg CDs (better recordings have been found among fans), although some tracks hiss, or are a little dull and will not get any better. This is a great treat for fans of old psychedelic rock! A MUST! (JL)
