PINK FLOYD - PINK FLOYD - Live In Lund, Sweden, March 1970 - EU Sweet Leaf Limited Edition - VERY RARE - LISTENprice: 55,00 PLN / 13,75 EUR
A limited, small-run 80-minute CD containing a great performance from Lund, Sweden, of 20 March 1970, which after mastering sounds very good, though not perfect (some 20% better than the YouTube versions) - recorded between the albums "Ummagumma" and "Atom Heart Mother". The band played its most popular/best pieces. Fans may know the version of "Interstellar Overdrive" here from the Top Gear double CD "Collection Of Rare LIVE Instrumentals (1969-1971)". This is the PF I love most - still experimental, still charming with its psychedelic sound, but not afraid to 'hit hard' in an almost hard rock way! The band was at the peak of its form then, and at concerts from this period it managed to work out an exceptionally juicy, full sound with incredible parts from Gilmour and Wright. Afterwards (after 1973) it was just not the same... A MUST! (JL) -
CD
PINK FLOYD - PINK FLOYD - Live In Cleveland, November 1971 (2CD) - EU Sweet Leaf Limited Edition - VERY RARE - LISTENprice: 80,00 PLN / 20,00 EUR
A limited, small-run, collectable 155-minute CD, containing mainly a great performance from Cleveland, Ohio, from November 1971, which after remastering sounds almost great - recorded during the American concert tour promoting the just-released LP 'Meddle'. The band traditionally performed its most popular/best pieces, including the suites Atom Heart Mother and Echoes! This is the PF I love most - still experimental, still charming with its psychedelic, decidedly rock sound, but on the eve of a huge, commercial breakthrough. Afterwards (after 1972) it was just not the same... Additionally included is the slightly worse-sounding, but absolutely unique, as much as 27-minute version of Embryo (unreleased on any studio record), recorded two weeks later! The reason for these additional 12-15 minutes was a breakdown of Richard Wright's keyboards, so the band had to improvise as a trio! A MUST! (JL). Condition: new, sealed. -
CD
PINK FLOYD - PINK FLOYD - Live In Montreux, September 1971 (2CD) - EU Sweet Leaf Limited Edition - VERY RARE - LISTENprice: 80,00 PLN / 20,00 EUR
A limited, small-run, collectable 135-minute CD, containing mainly an exquisite and perfectly sounding, 120-minute performance from Montreux, Switzerland, of 18 September 1971 - recorded during... a classical music festival - 2 months before the release of the LP 'Meddle'. The band traditionally performed its most popular/best pieces, including as much as a 30-minute, brilliant version (with choir and small orchestra) of 'Atom Heart Mother', a 20-minute 'A Saucerful Of Secrets' and a 24-minute 'Echoes'! This is the PF I love most - still experimental, still charming with its psychedelic, decidedly rock sound, but on the eve of a huge, commercial breakthrough. Afterwards (after 1972) it was just not the same... Additionally included is a version of 'Fat Old Sun' recorded a month later and fairly widely considered... the best in history! This is an absolutely essential CD for every fan of the band, in my opinion much more exciting and simply better than the famous Pompeii performance recorded 2 weeks later! Note! This is not the version known from old bootlegs (e.g. 'One Of These Days' on the Swingin' Pig label) with a slowed-down ending of 'A Saucerful Of Secrets', but a completely perfect edition from the radio master tape! AN ABSOLUTE MUST! (JL). Condition: new, sealed. -
CD
PINK FLOYD - PINK FLOYD - Live In Boston, June 1977 (2CD) - EU Sweet Leaf Limited Edition - VERY RARE - LISTENprice: 80,00 PLN / 20,00 EUR
A rare, limited, two-disc CD containing a splendid, 127-minute performance from Boston, of 7 June 1977 - alongside the Oakland performance (May 1977), the best-sounding concert from the tour promoting the LP "Animals". As on the previous tour ("Wish You Were Here" in 1975), nobody connected with Pink Floyd professionally recorded any concert at the time. And once again several performances were somehow recorded 'by surprise' from the audience, and the Boston concert is truly exceptional! The musical content is simply stunning too! Playing with the accompaniment of second guitarist Snowy White (later in Thin Lizzy, also known for his solo hit "Bird Of Paradise"), the band performed the whole LP "Wish You Were Here" (greatly extended, among other things by the second part of the "Shine On" suite, lasting over 21 minutes!), the whole of "Animals" (also changed/extended compared with the studio version) + two fragments from "Dark Side Of The Moon". Recorded among the audience, on 'almost' professional equipment, the concert sounds better than some of the official mixing-desk recordings. Additionally nice artwork. This CD sounds some 10% better than the attached YouTube material. A must for fans! (JL) -
CD
PINK FLOYD - PINK FLOYD - Live In Los Angeles 1975 (2CD) - EU Supernaut Edition - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 80,00 PLN / 20,00 EUR
A rare, limited, double CD containing the legendary show, lasting over 140 minutes, from 26 April 1975 - without doubt the best-sounding concert of the tour promoting 'Wish You Were Here'. Strangely, the band (or the label), then at the peak of its popularity, did not professionally record any concert in 1975, just as no radio station broadcast the band's shows. Fortunately the concert, recorded among the audience ('audience recording') on professional equipment, sounds better than the vast majority of mixing desk recordings. A similar situation to the brilliant Montreux 1970 and also Oakland 1977... The sound quality is simply superb and listening to this record is a huge pleasure! Nothing better from Floyd in 1975 will ever appear on the market! In addition, nice artwork. The CD sounds about 10% better than the YouTube material attached. A must for fans of the band! -
LP
PINK FLOYD - PINK FLOYD - BBC Live In Concert 1970-1971 - Paris Theatre, London, July 1970 / September 1971 (2LP) - FRA Verne Limited Press - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 170,00 PLN / 42,50 EUR
ATTENTION! This is very similar material, but in my opinion even better than the legendary "LIVE IN POMPEII 1971"! This limited, superb double black vinyl released by Verne Records, lasting exactly 104 minutes and decorated with an exceptionally attractive sleeve, includes, among others, "Echoes", "Atom Heart Mother", a 15-minute "Fat Old Sun", the best 10-minute version of "Embryo" I know of and the only known live version of "If"! ! This is the BEST-SOUNDING and without a doubt the best-produced edition of the BBC radio LIVE material - ever released! The sound quality is as good as, and sometimes better than, the catalogue albums, and the vinyl pressing is perfect! This is a great treat for fans of old rock and Pink Floyd! AN ABSOLUTE MUST! Condition: MINT / NEW, unsealed. (JL) -
LP
PINK FLOYD - PINK FLOYD - Live In Montreux 1970 (1st gig from 21st November) (2LP) - FRA Verne Press - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 170,00 PLN / 42,50 EUR
A new reissue of the double and absolutely brilliant recording of the Pink Floyd concert of 21 November 1970 (the first of two concerts played in this hall - the second a day later) - recorded just after the release of the LP 'Atom Heart Mother'. Many people, including me, consider this show the best concert of the band's entire career - helped by the fantastic sound quality. Apparently the whole thing was recorded on two professional Uher tape recorders, placed 6 metres from the stage. And since the acoustics at the casino in Montreux were reportedly legendary, the whole thing sounds stunning! This is the PF I love most - still experimental, still enchanting with a psychedelic sound, but not afraid to hit hard in an almost hard-rock way! The band was at its peak form then, and in 1970 at concerts it managed to work out an exceptionally juicy, full sound (with incredible parts from Gilmour and Wright) - even more intense than on the first, so excellent disc of the LP/CD 'Ummagumma' - something almost impossible to imagine! Unfortunately, nothing from this magical year 1970 was commemorated on official records - well, perhaps with the exception of a few of the best fragments of the suite 'Meddle'... A year later the quartet also played in Montreux, but with a somewhat different repertoire and with a smaller dose of adrenaline. And two years after that it was already a rather different band... The vinyl lasts nearly two hours ("Careful With That Axe, Eugene" has been omitted - the only recordings from this show of much poorer quality), and the sound quality is almost perfect and the vinyl pressing flawless! An absolute MUST! Condition: NEW, but not shrink-wrapped. -
LP
PINK FLOYD - PINK FLOYD - BBC Sessions (May 1967 - July 1969) (2LP) - FRA Verne Limited Press - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 170,00 PLN / 42,50 EUR
ATTENTION! It is 100% the most complete, BEST-SOUNDING and without a doubt best-produced edition of the radio material from the BBC - ever released! A superb, exactly 104-minute, double black vinyl adorned with a very attractive sleeve (with a UNIQUE PHOTOGRAPH OF THE LINE-UP with BARRETT and GILMOUR from the BEGINNING OF 1968) and containing all existing/surviving STUDIO recordings made for BBC radio and TV, between the spring of 1967 and the summer of 1969. The first fourteen recordings are the line-up with Syd Barrett, while David Gilmour already appears in the remaining fifteen. Please note that several pieces never appeared on catalogue records ("Scream Thy Last Scream", "Vegetable Man", "Embryo", "Point Me At The Sky", "Moonhead"), though in a few other cases only the titles were changed... The quality is very good or even ideal - certainly better than on Pink Floyd's official, lavish, big CD box set (the people responsible for choosing the recordings for "The Early Years" dropped the ball, since versions in far better quality had been circulating among fans for years) though 3-4 short recordings hiss slightly, or are a little dull and will not get any better. ATTENTION! There is also an Italian, double version on the market (75 minutes in a beautiful psychedelic sleeve) - ending, however, in December 1968 and containing weaker versions of the early recordings - taken from the CD box set. The Verne Records version, on the other hand, contains not only remastered, de-noised and corrected material (for example "Interstellar Overdrive" at the right speed, and not a minute... too slow - as on the PF box set!), but also, on the fourth side of the vinyl, a brilliant session from May 1969 (20 minutes) and the rare, uncut and excellent, 7-minute "Moonhead" - recorded specially by the band for BBC TV to mark the Moon landing in July 1969! This is a great treat for fans of old rock! AN ABSOLUTE MUST! Condition: MINT / NEW, unsealed. -
LP
PINK FLOYD - PINK FLOYD - Beyond The Gates Of Dawn - Psychedelic Sessions (August - October 1967) - FRA Verne Limited Press - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 110,00 PLN / 27,50 EUR
Released in a beautiful, laminated sleeve, a single European vinyl, LIMITED TO 500 COPIES, being a nearly hour-long and truly excellent compilation of very rare, psychedelic recordings made by the band (still led by Syd Barrett) in August and October 1967 - shortly after the release of the debut album. The record contains, among others, the heavily experimental 30-minute 'John Latham' (reminiscent of 'Interstellar Overdrive' from the debut) as well as several cult tracks, such as 'Scream Thy Last Scream' and 'Vegetable Man', intended for the never-released fourth single. All these tracks appeared on the sizeable CD/DVD box set released in 2016. The sound quality is sensational, and the black vinyl sounds excellent! A must! Condition: NEW, but not shrink-wrapped. -
CD
PINK FLOYD - PINK FLOYD - Live At The Rainbow February 1972 (2CD) - SPA Top Gear Edition - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 85,00 PLN / 21,25 EUR
Limited to 500 copies, rare, double, excellent CD containing the full, 145-minute performance from the Rainbow theatre in London, recorded on the tour promoting the album "Meddle". Interestingly - during the four London concerts between 17-20 January 1972 the band presented brand new "Dark Side Of The Moon" material! Not yet quite ready, with quite different "On The Run" and "Great Gig In The Sky", but it was already the 'Dark Side' 15 months before the record's premiere! Attention! The whole first 50 minutes covering "Dark Side" is in perfect, radio quality - never published by the band! The next two parts of the concert, sounding very good (but not perfect), come either from the mixing desk or from the audience. In addition, as a bonus, three rarities are included: very rarely performed and almost immediately dropped, live (audience, but very good sounding) versions of tracks from the record "Obscured By Clouds"! The price is very attractive, the artwork almost frenzied (all the photos come from the performance at the Rainbow Theatre). Attention! The YouTube link (the full concert without the bonus tracks) sounds slightly worse than the CD. An absolute MUST! (JL) -
LP
PINK FLOYD - PINK FLOYD - Live In Venice 1989 (including 2 bonus tracks) (2LP) - FRA Verne Limited Press - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 170,00 PLN / 42,50 EUR
An attractively produced, rare, limited, 107-minute double vinyl from Verne containing a sonically perfect, complete recording of the legendary, 90-minute concert in Venice on 15 July 1989. In addition, the full version of Shine On You Crazy Diamond from the Knebworth festival in 1990 and Us And Them from 1988, previously released only on the official CD edition 'Delicate Sound Of Thunder.' but strangely never reissued on vinyl! It is the best-sounding and best-looking version of this title ever released! A MUST! Condition: NEW, but not shrink-wrapped. -
CD
PINK FLOYD - PINK FLOYD - Collection Of Rare LIVE Instrumentals (1969-1971) (2CD) - SPA Top Gear - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 85,00 PLN / 21,25 EUR
Fan-club, excellent compilation, limited to 500 copies, of very rare, or exceptional, recordings by the band from its best period - recorded during several concert tours that took place between the release of the LP 'More' and the LP 'Atom Heart Mother'. The sound quality varies - from almost perfect (80 minutes out of 160), through really good (50 minutes out of 160) - to very average, but acceptable (30 minutes out of 160). But probably every fan of classic rock would like to hear what the only SURVIVING, live version of 'Alan's Psychedelic Breakfast' sounds like (which until now one had only read about in foreign books), 'Sysyphus' (also known in one version) played in part by the band as well, the 20-minute, mega-psychedelic 'Interstellar Overdrive' recorded with Frank Zappa on second guitar, or the experimental, very psychedelic and never released on records tracks 'Moonhead' and 'Corrosion'. On the other hand, the quality of these worse recordings is no weaker than the sound reaching us from the seats at Warsaw's Torwar... A MUST! (JL) -
CD
PINK FLOYD - PINK FLOYD - Live At KQED TV Studios, 29th April 1970 - The Complete Show - SPA Top Gear Limited Edition - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 60,00 PLN / 15,00 EUR
A CD limited to 500 copies, attractively presented and perfect-sounding, containing a recording of a 65-minute live performance (without an audience) that took place in the studio of American public television on 29 April 1970 - on the day of the famous Fillmore concert. This material has been released in the past (including on the DVD in the box set "The Early Years"), but never with the recently found "Astronomy Domine"! This is the PF I love most - still experimental, still enchanting with its psychedelic sound, but not afraid to 'hit hard' in an almost hard-rock manner! The band was then at the peak of its form, and in concerts of this period it managed to develop an exceptionally juicy, full sound with incredible parts by Gilmour and Wright. An absolute MUST! (JL) -
LP
PINK FLOYD - PINK FLOYD - Live For A Friend - Benefit Concert For Robert Wyatt - Live At Rainbow Theatre, London - 05/11/1973 (2LP) - EU Press - VERY RAREprice: 170,00 PLN / 42,50 EUR
On vinyl for the first time (previously on CD, among others under the title "Obscured At The Rainbow"), a recording of the second (5 November 1973, the first took place the day before) of the Pink Floyd concerts devoted to raising money for Robert Wyatt, who had broken his spine. A remastered edition of the brilliant, second, decidedly psychedelic album by the band, containing, among others, "Set The Controls For The Heart Of The Sun", "Let There Be More Light" and the 12-minute title track. Syd Barrett still appeared on three tracks. 2016 edition, in a gatefold paper sleeve. -
CD
PINK FLOYD - PINK FLOYD - BBC Sessions (May 1967-December 1968) - SPA Top Gear Edition - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 60,00 PLN / 15,00 EUR
This limited, fan-club CD (released in a run of 500 copies) contains all the existing/surviving recordings made for BBC radio and TV between spring 1967 and autumn 1968. The first fourteen tracks are the line-up with Syd Barrett, while in the remaining fourteen David Gilmour already appears. Please note that several pieces never appeared on catalogue records, though in a few cases only the titles were changed... The quality is very good or ideal - certainly better than on old bootleg CDs (better recordings have been found among fans), although some tracks hiss, or are a little dull and will not get any better. This is a great treat for fans of old psychedelic rock! A MUST! (JL) -
LP
PINK FLOYD - PINK FLOYD - British Tour January - February 1970 - EU Open Mind Limited Press - VERY RAREprice: 120,00 PLN / 30,00 EUR
Released in a beautiful, gatefold, laminated sleeve, a single European vinyl, LIMITED TO 500 COPIES, being a nearly hour-long and truly excellent compilation of very rare or exceptional recordings by the band from what was probably its best period - recorded during a short, fairly experimental concert tour (the band reached for lesser-known or premiere compositions) that took place in early 1970 (in Birmingham and Croydon, among other places) - just before the recording of the LP "Atom Heart Mother". The album includes, among others, a 14-minute version of "Main Theme From More" (different from the one on the double CD of rare instrumentals), "Sysyphus", known only from one live version - here played partly by the band too, a very early, fairly gentle but contrast-filled version of "Embryo", not released on any major record, as well as a 24-minute suite made up of four rare numbers, including "Quicksilver" and (almost entirely unknown) "Moonhead". The sound quality is really good (much better than on previous versions, though far from perfect) and will certainly please fans of rare recordings very much. The 180-gram black vinyl is perfectly pressed! A must! NEW, not shrink-wrapped. -
LP
PINK FLOYD - PINK FLOYD - Live At Pompeii 1971 (2LP) - BLACK Vinyl - FRA Verne Remastered LIMITED Press - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 170,00 PLN / 42,50 EUR
EDITION ON BLACK VINYL!!! Sensational! Limited, remastered (brilliant-sounding - truly!) edition from the label Verne on black vinyl, a double LP containing the full, legendary Pink Floyd performance from autumn 1971 - unfortunately never before released on an official vinyl record! The band was then still at the peak of its creative powers! A fantastic, almost psychedelic repertoire (including "Echoes" (in one, 25-minute piece), "Careful With That Axe, Eugene" (two versions - one of them previously unreleased) and "A Saucerful Of Secrets" (now in the full, 13-minute version). In addition, on the last side there is a fantastic, nearly 28-minute version of the suite "Atom Heart Mother", from February 1971 - played with orchestra and choir! ATTENTION! This is the same mix that appeared in 2016 on the box set, so all the tracks have the right speed, since the previous editions (transferred from the official DVD) unfortunately played a little too fast... Condition: NEW, unsealed. -
CD
PINK FLOYD - PINK FLOYD - Live In Amsterdam 1969 - SPA Top Gear Edition - VERY RAREprice: 60,00 PLN / 15,00 EUR
An absolutely fantastic, fan-club CD containing the full, 80-minute recording of the concert that took place in September 1969 in Amsterdam and which was broadcast on local radio. After many years the broadcast was repeated and became the basis of many bootlegs. However, none of them sounded as good, as dynamic and as clean (hiss-free) as this one! It is hard to imagine any better-sounding concert material. The band presented then its unique, psychedelic spectacle 'The Man & The Journey' containing many themes/tracks never explored before or since on official records. This is psychedelic nirvana - an absolute must for every fan of the band and of the progressive music of the time. The whole would be ideal were it not for 2-3 weaker, vocal moments by David Gilmour. That was probably the reason why this material was never officially released! The front of the sleeve shows the official poster that Hipgnosis prepared for the British tour, so the whole thing looks exceptionally impressive! A must! -
CD
PINK FLOYD - PINK FLOYD - Live In Oakland 1977 (2CD) - EU Supernaut Edition - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 80,00 PLN / 20,00 EUR
A rare, limited, double CD containing the legendary show, lasting over 140 minutes, from Oakland, from 9 May 1977 - without doubt the best-sounding concert of the tour promoting "Animals". As on the previous tour ("Wish You Were Here" from 1975), nobody connected with Pink Floyd professionally recorded any concert at the time. And again a few shows were recorded, by some miracle, 'unawares' from the audience, and the Oakland concert is simply exceptional! The musical content is also simply overwhelming! The whole of "Wish You Were Here" (heavily extended, including the second part of the suite "Shine On" lasting over 20 minutes!), the whole of "Animals" (also altered/extended compared with the studio version) + two fragments from "Dark Side" and the last known live version of "Careful With That Axe Eugene"! So, as with Los Angeles 1975 or Montreux 1970, the concert, recorded among the audience on 'almost' professional equipment, sounds better than the vast majority of official mixing desk recordings. Nothing better on the subject of rare Pink Floyd from 1977 simply exists. In addition, nice artwork. This CD sounds about 10% better than the YouTube material attached. A must for fans of good playing! (JL) -
CD
PINK FLOYD - PINK FLOYD - Live In Santa Monica May 1970 (2CD) - SPA Top Gear Edition - VERY RAREprice: 85,00 PLN / 21,25 EUR
Limited to 500 copies, a fan-club, double-disc and absolutely brilliant recording ('audience recording') of a 126-minute Pink Floyd concert from Santa Monica on 1 May 1970 (NOT TO BE CONFUSED with the other superb and famous show from the same city, from 23 October 1970) - recorded half a year before the release of the LP "Atom Heart Mother". An excellent concert, and the almost perfect sound quality helps enormously in enjoying it. The whole thing was recorded on a professional reel-to-reel recorder, so the quality is identical to the brilliant Montreux show from November of that year and it sounds like a very good soundboard - in my opinion at times better than the live part of the LP "Ummagumma"! This is the PF I love most - still experimental, still enchanting with a psychedelic sound, but not afraid to hit hard in an almost hard-rock way! The band was at its peak form then, and at concerts of this period managed to work out an exceptionally juicy, full sound with incredible parts from Gilmour and Wright. Afterwards (after 1973) it was no longer the same... An absolute MUST! (JL) -
CD

A recording of the band's famous performance in Pompeii, remixed by Steven Wilson in 2.0 LPCM Stereo and 5.1 Dolby Digital Surround. -
CD
PINK FLOYD - PINK FLOYD - Piper At The Gates Of Dawn - EU Remastered Card Sleeve Editionprice: 70,00 PLN / 17,50 EUR
A remastered edition of the brilliant debut album belonging to the strict canon of psychedelic rock! Syd Barrett, the main composer (10 of the 11 tracks), in an amazing way combined his drug experiences and everyday life with the aesthetics of... classic English children's fairy tales and with a rock style - at the same time proving to be a very original guitarist. A very important role was also played by the dreamy, or else mysterious, phrases of the keyboard player Wright, inspired by the music of the East. A wonderful record - perhaps the best in the band's whole discography, and certainly the most important and the most pioneering! 2016 edition, in a gatefold paper sleeve. -
