OUTSIDERS - CQ - EU Music On Vinyl YELLOW VINYL Limited Press

This third album by the Dutch band, released in 1968, in my humble opinion belongs to the very top of psychedelic rock, and is certainly one of the most outstanding achievements of its kind from continental Europe! The record is filled with thirteen very "British" tracks, probably closest to the style of the Pretty Things' "SF Sorrow", but you can also hear the influence of the Zombies from the period of the LP "Odessey And Oracle" and of the psychedelic Kinks! Of course there is no question of any cheap copying or duplicating of others' ideas! The Outsiders played entirely their own music, and certain similarities and comparisons are simply unavoidable. Either way this is a decidedly brilliant record, which will delight all fans of exquisite psychedelic rock from the late sixties! Truly nobody will be disappointed! A reissue on yellow vinyl, from 2025.
