MAQUINA - Why? - SPA Guerssen Press - LISTEN

An excellent, debut album by a cult (deservedly!), Spanish band playing juicy, heavily improvised heavy-prog-rock (overdriven guitars with wah-wah, all-pervading organ) with clear psychedelic influences. English vocals! In my opinion it is in the top five of Spanish rock! The main point of the album was the 25-minute title track, apparently recorded live in the studio. The cover apparently pleased Salvador Dali himself! A 2021 Spanish reissue, in a gatefold sleeve.
