FREEDOM'S CHILDREN - Astra - GRE Missing Vinyl Remastered Limited 180g Press - LISTEN

The second album by a wonderful band from South Africa - now regarded by many collectors as an absolute masterpiece of mature, psych-progressive rock! In my opinion it is a combination of the style of early Pink Floyd (1968-1969) with a pinch of Arcadium! The whole record is arranged as a kind of rock-psychedelic suite, full of original, dark sounds, frequent changes of mood and interesting instrumental parts (heavy guitars, strong Hammond organ tones) decorated with psychedelic effects. A thrilling album (worth over a thousand euros on the original Parlophone vinyl!)! A must! Remastered 2022 edition limited to 500 copies, in a gatefold sleeve.
