EDEN ROSE - On The Way To Eden +2 - US Lion Remastered Expanded Edition - LISTEN

Released in 1970, the unfortunately only album by a great French formation, later transformed into the much more popular band Sandrose. The music of Eden Rose is early-progressive, organ-and-guitar, entirely instrumental (and good!) playing, a blend of the output of Procol Harum, Crazy World Of Arthur Brown, a more progressive Brian Auger and Hell Preachers Inc. Eight substantial, unembellished, at moments strongly classicising tracks with great, overdriven guitar parts and juicy Hammond organ. That is how they played only in 1969-70! Plus two tracks from a rare single. A MUST! (JL)
