CHICO MAGNETIC BAND - Chico Magnetic Band +5 - FRA Absinthe Expanded Limited Press - LISTEN - VERY RARE

A vinyl edition limited to 500 copies of the sole sensational album, released in 1971, by a forgotten French band, combining wacky psychedelic rock with Hendrix-style guitar and a stylish vocal à la Jimi. Fortunately it was not simple copying, but quite original, strongly swaying, sharp, at times downright wild playing - full of experiments with sound. Now worth nearly 1000 euros (in Near Mint condition), the album decidedly sounded more like 1969 than 1971. This version contains five additional recordings from rare singles. The sound quality is excellent! Highly recommended! (JL)
