CACTUS - Live In The States 1971 (2CD) - FRA On The Air Edition - LISTEN - VERY RARE

A superb double CD lasting over two and a half hours, containing a complete show of excellent quality from December 1971 (just after the release of the third album "Restrictions") and five live recordings from August 1971. The band (still in the classic line-up) played as if inspired - like a combination of Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath and Cream. Most of the tracks lasted between 8 and 20 minutes! The sound quality is perfect - it could not be better! Why did this material not come out at the time??!! A few months later the rhythm section of Tim Bogert and Carmine Appice formed a trio with Jeff Beck. A must! (JL)
