PINK FLOYD - Live At The Rainbow February 1972 (2CD) - SPA Top Gear Edition - LISTEN - VERY RARE

Limited to 500 copies, rare, double, excellent CD containing the full, 145-minute performance from the Rainbow theatre in London, recorded on the tour promoting the album "Meddle". Interestingly - during the four London concerts between 17-20 January 1972 the band presented brand new "Dark Side Of The Moon" material! Not yet quite ready, with quite different "On The Run" and "Great Gig In The Sky", but it was already the 'Dark Side' 15 months before the record's premiere! Attention! The whole first 50 minutes covering "Dark Side" is in perfect, radio quality - never published by the band! The next two parts of the concert, sounding very good (but not perfect), come either from the mixing desk or from the audience. In addition, as a bonus, three rarities are included: very rarely performed and almost immediately dropped, live (audience, but very good sounding) versions of tracks from the record "Obscured By Clouds"! The price is very attractive, the artwork almost frenzied (all the photos come from the performance at the Rainbow Theatre). Attention! The YouTube link (the full concert without the bonus tracks) sounds slightly worse than the CD. An absolute MUST! (JL)
