What a fantastic record! Great-sounding edition, expanded by over 45 minutes, of reportedly the first rock LP released in Spain! Earlier local groups had recorded only singles... Made in summer 1970, the excellent debut album contained a concentrated dose of juicy, improvised, almost trance-like, English-sung heavy-prog rock, with the sound of heavily overdriven guitars (one with wah-wah, the other with fuzz - that is a fact!) and ubiquitous organs - with clear influences of psychedelia. In my opinion it is in the top three of Spanish rock - alongside the brilliant LP by the group Pan Y Regaliz (1971) and the record by Eduardo Bort (1975)! The main point of the album was the 25-minute, two-part, title track, reportedly recorded live in the studio - now without the cut in the middle! The cover, meanwhile, reportedly pleased Salvador Dali himself! In fact on one of the photos on the CD the legendary painter poses together with the band! I stress: in terms of sound quality this edition beats the Spanish edition hands down, which had clear vinyl crackle! The six bonus tracks (another excellent 40 minutes) came from the same recording session and were in no way inferior to the LP. In addition three tracks from early, psychedelic singles have been added. An absolute must!
