IRON MAIDEN - IRON MAIDEN - Live At Hammersmith Odeon, London, May 1983 2CD - Full Concert - EU Sweet Leaf Limited Edition - VERY RARE - LISTENprice: 80,00 PLN / 20,00 EUR
A tastefully released, limited, European double CD containing a 115-minute performance (recorded from the audience, but in really very good sound quality) that took place in the temple of metal of the day, that is London's Hammersmith Odeon in May 1983, during the tour promoting the just-released, fourth LP in the band's discography, 'Piece Of Mind'. A big plus of this concert is the splendid, truly unique set of tracks, including 'Piece Of Mind' played almost in its entirety! The cover features a classic design by Derek Riggs - the band's then house cover artist - borrowed from the front of the official 1983 tour programme! Once again: the sound quality is almost great (a little muffled but beating hands down the recordings available now) and all the instruments and the vocal can be heard very well! Besides, there DOES NOT EXIST a better recording of a full concert by the band from that tour! It is certainly a huge treat for fans of old Maiden and the NWOBHM! A MUST! Condition: New, sealed. IRON MAIDEN - IRON MAIDEN - Live In Nijmegen, Netherlands, April 1981 - Full Concert - EU Sweet Leaf Limited Edition - VERY RARE - LISTENprice: 55,00 PLN / 13,75 EUR
A tastefully released, limited, European CD containing a 78-minute recording of a radio-broadcast performance that took place in Nijmegen, the Netherlands, in April 1981, during the tour promoting the band's second LP 'Killers'. Until now this performance had been available in a cut, 48-minute version, but recently the complete radio broadcast was found! NOTE! The cover features an unpublished 1981 design by Derek Riggs - the band's then house cover artist! The sound quality is almost perfect - even better, fuller-sounding (more treble) than on the YouTube version! It is certainly a huge treat for fans of old Maiden and the NWOBHM! A MUST! Condition: New, sealed. (JL) -

IRON MAIDEN - IRON MAIDEN - Live At Beat-Club Germany 1981 - Complete Show - EU Supernaut LIMITED Edition - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 60,00 PLN / 15,00 EUR
A limited, fan-club CD containing the full (for the first time in history) show from the cult programme Beat-Club, where in January 1981 (2 weeks before the release of the LP "Killers") the band (still with vocalist Paul Di'Anno) played an hour-long set containing, among other things, the whole debut (except "Strange World") and several new tracks from the second record. Until now a decent, 30-minute version taken from a VHS copied 37 years ago from German television had been circulating on the market... and here it suddenly turned out that the band had played for an hour and the TV station decided to make the digital version of the show public on the internet... The sound quality is sensational - as is the form of the young band, then still hungry for fame and fortune! A MUST! (JL) -

Limited to 300 copies, a fan-club black vinyl released in a beautiful, gatefold, laminated sleeve (with photos from the show and more) and containing the complete show (without the 2-minute version of "Remember Tomorrow", cut short by the band) from the cult programme Beat-Club, in January 1981, recorded two weeks before the release of the LP "Killers". The band (still with vocalist Paul Di'Anno) played an hour-long set containing, among other things, the whole debut (except "Strange World") and several new tracks from the second record. Until now a decent, 30-minute version taken from a VHS copied 37 years ago from German television had been circulating on the market... IRON MAIDEN - IRON MAIDEN - Communication Breakdown - Rare B'Sides 1990-1996 - FRA Verne Limited Press - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 110,00 PLN / 27,50 EUR
A black vinyl limited to 500 copies, lasting 52 minutes and perfectly pressed by Verne, released in a very attractive, laminated sleeve with a rare drawing by Derek Riggs and with several nice photographs of the band on the back! The album contains the band's rare, hard-to-get, or unobtainable studio, single (including CD) recordings made between 1990 and 1996 - including plenty of successful covers of compositions by other artists. We have here, among others, "Communication Breakdown" by Led Zeppelin, "I'm A Mover" by Free, "Space Station No 5" by Montrose, "I Can See My Feelings" by Budgie, or NEVER RELEASED ON OFFICIAL VINYL: "Doctor Doctor" by UFO, or "My Generation" by The Who - the last two with Blaze Bayley as vocalist! Generally the record sounds wonderful and is a fantastic and at the same time perfect complement to the albums of the 90s - from "No Prayer For The Dying" to "X Factor"! A must! Condition: MINT (NEW, unsealed). -
CD
IRON MAIDEN - IRON MAIDEN - Live In New York 1982 - SPA Top Gear Edition - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 60,00 PLN / 15,00 EUR
This is live material, well known among fans, recorded in June 1982, during the tour promoting the LP "Number Of The Beast". The concert was broadcast on the radio and released in a minimal run on a promotional, two-disc vinyl worth hundreds of dollars today. This Spanish, limited CD contains the full, 63-minute broadcast in unusually clean sound quality and with professional links between the tracks. The band was in excellent form, and on drums played the sorely missed Clive Burr, who himself gave Maiden an additional 20-30% of excellence. In addition two tracks ("Sanctuary" and "Drifter") recorded in 1980 at the London club Marquee and released only on the rare Japanese maxi "Live + One" (together with the well-known "Phantom Of The Opera") are included. As far as I know, these two tracks have never come out on an official CD! So this is absolutely classic Maiden from the best period and in better quality than the catalogue "Live After Death" (two years later)! The CD has been adorned with nice photos taken mainly from the rare, official concert programme. A must! -

IRON MAIDEN - IRON MAIDEN - Maiden Tokyo 1981 (2LP) - FRA Verne Press - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 170,00 PLN / 42,50 EUR
In my opinion this is the best concert of Iron Maiden's career! I am from the old school, which values Paul Di'Anno more than Bruce Dickinson, and the first two albums will never be beaten by the later titles... Limited to 500 copies and released in a beautiful, laminated sleeve, the double vinyl contains a recording of the full, 75-minute show (almost all the tracks from the first two albums) that took place in Tokyo in May 1981, during the tour promoting the band's second LP "Killers". During this short tour Japanese EMI recorded several concerts (the band played two shows a day), of which only this Tokyo one (the evening show) happily reached fans a few years ago (what is more, in EXCELLENT QUALITY), professionally mixed and... as if ready for release! And since only five tracks from the concert in Nagoya (recorded a day earlier) appeared in summer 1981 on the official maxi single "Maiden Japan" (EMI) - it is certainly a great treat for fans of old Maiden and the NWOBHM! On the fourth side, as a bonus, there is a 25-minute (recorded from the audience, good-sounding) portion of the said Nagoya show (including "Prowler"), from which four tracks ended up on the official maxi single "Maiden Japan"! An absolute must! New, sealed. -
LP
IRON MAIDEN - IRON MAIDEN - Soundhouse Tapes EP And More Rare Early Tracks December 1978 - April 1980 - FRA Verne Limited Press - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 110,00 PLN / 27,50 EUR
Limited to 500 copies, a 55-minute black vinyl released in a very attractive, laminated sleeve with nice early photos of the band. The album contains rare, hard-to-find, single, radio or compilation recordings by the band made between December 1978 and April 1980 - just before the release of the debut album! I am from the old school, which values the vocalist Paul Di'Anno more than (otherwise excellent) Bruce Dickinson, and the first two albums will never be beaten by the later titles... Of course the greatest value lies in the tracks from the title, legendary EP "Soundhouse Tapes" (along with the bonus track "Strange World" from the same session) - released privately in 1979 by the band on its own label Rock Hard in a run of 5000 copies and today in perfect condition worth about 2500 euros. In addition plenty of superb recordings have been included, for example the full studio session for BBC radio from November 1979, both tracks from the compilation "Metal For Muthas", the very rare demo version of "Running Free" - known from the German EMI single of 1980. An attractive bonus, not released (like the BBC session) on any official vinyl, is the live version of "Running Free" from the TV programme 'Top Of The Pops' (February 1980) - here in excellent quality. Overall the record sounds wonderful and is a fantastic complement to the band's first two titles! A must! NEW, but not shrink-wrapped. -
CD
IRON MAIDEN - IRON MAIDEN - From Fear To Eternity - Best Of 1990-2010 (2CD)price: 80,00 PLN / 20,00 EUR
Very nice and beautifully presented two-disc compilation containing 23 tracks. It is just a pity that the period with Blaze Bayley on vocals - in my humble opinion very successful - has been almost passed over here. All right, there are live versions of "Sign Of The Cross" and "Man On The Edge" (from "X Factor") and "The Clansman" (from "Virtual XI"), but that is probably a little too little... not nice! Nevertheless it is an interesting release, which can certainly be picked up by all those who do not collect whole discographies, but would like to get to know the output of Maiden. Fans of the band must have this CD anyway, if only because of the new incarnation of Eddie... Recommended. (K) -

IRON MAIDEN - IRON MAIDEN - Live At The Palladium, New York 1982 - EU Dead Man Limited Press - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 200,00 PLN / 50,00 EUR
LAST COPY! Released in a beautiful, gatefold, laminated sleeve (with nice, rare photos of the band), a single European vinyl, LIMITED TO 500 COPIES, perfect-sounding (radio broadcast) and very long (yet flawlessly pressed), 62-minute (!!!) black vinyl with probably the most famous show of the band's career! This live material, extremely well known among fans, was recorded in New York in June 1982 during the tour promoting the LP "Number Of The Beast". The concert was broadcast on the radio and released in a minimal run on a promotional double vinyl worth hundreds of dollars today. This edition contains the full version in even slightly better, very dynamic, clean sound quality and with professional joins between tracks. The band was on excellent form, and the drummer was still the sorely missed Clive Burr, who by himself gave the band an extra 20-30% of excellence! So this is absolutely classic Maiden from the best period and in my opinion much better than the catalogue "Live After Death" (three years later). An absolute must for all fans of heavy music! (JL) -
CD
IRON MAIDEN - IRON MAIDEN - Maiden Tokyo 1981 - Top Quality Soundboard Recording - SPA Top Gear Remastered Edition - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 60,00 PLN / 15,00 EUR
In my opinion this is the best concert of Iron Maiden's career! I am from the old school, which values Paul Di'Anno more than Bruce Dickinson, and the first two albums will never be beaten by later titles... The CD, limited to 500 copies, contains a recording of the full performance that took place in Tokyo in May 1981 during the tour promoting the band's second LP, "Killers". During this short, Japanese tour Japanese EMI recorded several concerts (the band played 2 shows a day), of which only this Tokyo (evening) one fortunately reached fans a few years ago (what is more in EXCELLENT QUALITY), professionally mixed and... as if ready for release! Only in 2-3 announcements can you hear slight hiss, mild interference. And since only 5 tracks from the concert in Nagoya (recorded the day before) appeared in summer 1981 on the official maxi single 'Maiden Japan' (EMI) - it is certainly a great treat for fans of old Maiden and the NWOBHM!. So this 80-minute, slightly improved (compared with the earlier version) CD contains very dynamic, yet spacious performances of almost all the tracks from the first two Iron Maiden albums and as a bonus - an excellent Prowler (from the afternoon performance) - unfortunately here in average quality - recorded by someone from the audience. The CD has been adorned with a very rare cover (rejected by EMI as too drastic) showing Eddie holding a severed head... of Paul Di' Anno (who had just left the band) - known only from the Venezuelan edition of 'Maiden Japan' from 1987, worth 600-700 dollars...! Besides that, the booklet contains several nice photos from the Japanese tour. It is an excellent complement to the CD 'Live In New York 1982' released earlier by the Spaniards! An absolute must! IRON MAIDEN - IRON MAIDEN - Live At The Rainbow December 1980 - The Complete Show - SPA Top Gear Remastered Edition - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 60,00 PLN / 15,00 EUR
A CD limited to 500 copies contains a recording of the full 80-minute performance that took place at the Rainbow Theatre in London in December 1980 - two months before the release of the second LP, "Killers". The band (still with Paul Di'Anno on vocals) recorded a classic, 30-minute, stunning video at the time (with an identical cover to this CD), but the audio material never appeared on an official release. The disc contains the full performance (recorded by a fan on very decent equipment) together with the original versions of two tracks which on the official VHS were specially repeated, because the band made several mistakes! Fans know what I mean... The sound quality is really very good, and what a superb cover! It is a great treat for every fan of the band and of classic metal! A must! (JL) -

CD
IRON MAIDEN - IRON MAIDEN - Soundhouse Tapes And Rare Early Tracks 1978-1981 - SPA Top Gear Remastered Edition - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 60,00 PLN / 15,00 EUR
Sensational! A CD limited to 500 copies containing rare or hard-to-find, single or compilation recordings by the band made in 1978-1981 with the first vocalist. I am from the old school, which values Paul Di'Anno more than (otherwise excellent) Bruce Dickinson, and the first two albums will never be beaten by the later titles... Above all, the greatest value lies in the tracks from the legendary EP 'The Soundhouse Tapes' - released privately in 1979 by the band on its own label Rock Hard in a run of 5000 copies and today in perfect condition worth up to 2000 euros. The only official CD version (a replica of the vinyl in a ginger cardboard sleeve - as on the cover of this CD) appeared in 2002 in a run of 666 copies and was available only to those lucky people who sent in coupons from the purchase of all the CD reissues together with an additional sum... 6.66 dollars. I have seen the CD with three tracks sold on eBay for 500-600 dollars, so it is probably worth risking buying this CD! In addition, plenty of superb, live and studio recordings from singles, EPs and compilations that have been hard to find on CD for years have been included, among them the entire maxi 'Maiden Japan' (in its five-track version), the very rare demo version of 'Running Free' (known from the German EMI single of 1980) and 'Strange World', from the same session as TST. The booklet includes, among other things, a copy of the back of the EP (with the original cut-out at the top) and reproductions of the full sleeves of the early singles! The sound is sensational - even slightly better than on the old editions! An absolute must! (JL)
